Season+ Graduation and Progression Pass

Season+ Graduation questline has arrived with the update on October 14, 2021 (Thu). You’ll now be able to complete the Graduation questline and move towards new horizons! We hope you had an enjoyable journey through the Season+ servers!
In this GM Note, we’ll be presenting the new content that were not available during our previous seasons. Adventurers, the long-awaited Season+ graduation is at hand! Let’s go through the how-tos of graduation and the new content coming in!
1. What is Graduation?
If you are an Adventurer who played the Season servers for the first time, this is for you!

Why Should I Graduate? |
|
“I really like the season server. Do I have to Graduate?”
Graduation isn’t mandatory! You can choose to continue to enjoy the season content until the season ends.
However, season characters are limited to the season-exclusive gear “Tuvala gear.” This means you might have a harder time trying to do more difficult content. Once you graduate, you’ll be able to equip normal gear that can be purchased from the Central Market, which will enable you to progress much further than what is possible on the season servers.
Additionally, season characters can get awesome rewards from the NPC Fughar for graduating. These rewards are extremely helpful in moving forward with your future adventures! |

When is a Good Time to Graduate? |
|
Here are our GM’s recommendations on when to graduate.
- Get PEN (V) Tuvala Helmet, Armor, Gloves, Shoes, Main/Sub/Awakening Weapons so you can start the “Guaranteed PEN (V) Boss Gear” upgrade right away!
- Reach Lv. 61 on your season character to get the Challenge rewards! Lv. 60 Season Character Reward: PEN (V) Tuvala Ring Lv. 61 Season Character Reward: PEN (V) Tuvala Earring |
2. Graduation Requirements & How-tos
Ready to graduate from Season+? First, you’ll need to fulfill the following requirements.

① Must not have “Fughar's Timepiece,” which is obtained by completing the [Season] Fughar's Special Timepiece quest from the NPC Fughar.
Tip! Fughar’s Timepiece is an incredibly special item that can only be obtained in the season. Although you can throw it away to graduate, we recommend using it first! ▶ Check out the [Season Character Transfer System] for details.
② Must have completed and claimed all of the rewards for the Season Pass. - [Did not purchase the Black Spirit’s Pass] Must complete and claim all the rewards for the Season Pass Challenges. - [Purchased the Black Spirit Pass] Must complete and claim all the rewards for both the Season and Black Spirit Pass Challenges.
Tip! If you have an unused [Event] Black Spirit’s Pass, you won’t be able to use it after you graduate! So, make sure to use it beforehand! |
If you meet all the requirements for graduation, then follow the steps below to start your graduation!

Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate |
Enter a normal server with your season character with the “Honorable Adventurer’s Certificate.” Then use the item to convert the season character into a normal character.
* You can only use the Honorable Adventurer's Certificate in a normal server once you fulfill all of the graduation requirements.

* Unlike previous seasons, the item “Gift Box Full of Memories” does not contain the item “[Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon.”
Open the Tuvala Conversion Stone Box to obtain a variety of Tuvala Conversion Stones.
These Tuvala Conversion Stones allow you to convert the Season Tuvala Gear that can only be used on the season servers into normal Tuvala Gear that can be used on the normal servers.
* Tuvala Gear that have not been converted with a Tuvala Conversion Stone cannot be equipped by a normal character!
3. Graduation Gifts
We have tons of rewards for our Adventurers that have worked hard to graduate from the Season+ servers.

Safeguards the enhancement level of your items when you fail an enhancement. A helpful item that takes a lot of pressure off enhancing! |

[Event] Secret Book of Old Moon (7 Days) |
An item that grants a ton of buffs, including increased Combat/Skill/Life EXP, and the ability to freely reset enhanced skills and change skill add-ons, for 7 days! |

Golden Graduation Gown |
Can be sold to an NPC Vendor for 10,000,000 Silver. |

A Variety of Scrolls and Elixir Boxes that grant buffs |
The [Event] Item Collection Increase Scroll (60 min), Blessed Message Scroll (100 min), and [Event] Giovan Grolin’s Support Scroll are scrolls that grant a range of Combat, Skill, and Life EXP buffs. While the Premium Elixir Box contains a bunch of elixirs with a variety of useful buffs.

Find the NPC Fughar with the item to select your special season reward.
* If you sadly missed out on a previous season reward, you can take this chance to select and exchange for it! However, the special season rewards are limited to once per Family, so if you’ve received it before, you won’t be able to get it again!
4. Progression Pass After Graduation!
The “Progression Pass” will be coming in a future update!

What is the Progression Pass? |
|
The Progression Pass has seven categories: Quest/Adventure Log, Defeating Monsters, Gathering, Farming/Cooking, Hunting/Butchering, Training, and Game Tips. You’ll be able experience many of the contents available in Black Desert by going progressing through the pass and get rewards in the process! |

The Progression Pass is only available for normal characters, which means you can’t do it with your season character! Give it a go after you graduate from Season+! |

Where is the Progression Pass? |
|
Click on the arrow icon ( |
) on the top right corner of the screen. This will open the Progression Pass UI.
5. Guaranteed PEN (V) Boss Gear
A new upgrade system has been added. This system will allow you to get four defense gear and three weapon types for a total of seven boss gear at the PEN (V) enhancement level, guaranteed!
That’s right! You cannot fail your PEN (V) Boss Gear attempt with this new method! Check out the details in the GM Note linked below.
