Tag your characters to gain EXP together! Copy and share your gear!

[Tip!] Even if you've graduated your Season character, you can grow two characters at once by sharing EXP through character tagging. Plus, share a piece of gear between them with the Item Copy event!

What is Item Copy?

It lets you copy the items of a “main” character to a tagged character, allowing you to try out the desired class with your main character’s gear!

  • Item Copy - Gear shared within your Family!
Item Copy allows you to copy the items of a “main” character to a tagged character.
You can use this feature to try out your main character’s gears on a different class
and experience new adventures in Black Desert world!
 
  • Tag Characters
In order to use “Item Copy,” you must first set up a character tag and complete a questline.
Follow the steps below to get started.
 
▲ Place both characters in the same town, then left-click the Tag Characters button at the top left of your screen!
 
▲ Choose the character to tag, then click on the Tag!

※ Important notes for character tagging

- Tagged characters follow each other like shadows and share locations.

But, if you enable "Travel Separately," they can move independently.

- You can only untag characters in the town where you first tagged them.

- Tagged characters can't handle trade items.

- Both characters need to be at least Lv. 7.

When one tagged character gains EXP, the other gets the same amount of EXP. 

▲ Press the “Get EXP” button in the Character’s Tag Setting UI to claim the EXP your other tagged character earned.
  • Complete [Marni's Suspicious Device] A Splendid Deal
-  After tagging, summon the Black Spirit and complete all the [Marni's Suspicious Device] A Splendid Deal questline to copy items to the tagged character.

* You can start this quest with a character of Lv. 56 or higher via the Black Spirit.



Once you meet both conditions, the Item Copy button will appear in the Tag Characters UI.
 
You'll need Marni's Unstable Fuel for Item Copy. You can buy it from the Old Moon Manager in major cities/towns for 10,000,000 Silver.
 
 
Normally, the amount of Marni's Unstable Fuel that you need follows the formula below.
However, you only need ONE Marni’s Unstable Fuel to copy items during the event!

(All 3 Weapons) Central Market Price x 0.15% + (All 3 Weapons) Number of Caphras Stones for Caphras Enhancement x 2,000 Silver

- The minimum cost to use Item Copy is Marni's Unstable Fuel x20. However, you need just one fuel during the event.
- Gear used in Item Copy and copied gear cannot be stored or listed on the Central Market.
 
[The following items cannot be copied]
- Class-specific outfits such as the Calpheon Noble Dress
- Tuvala gear for Season character
- Naru gear
- Main quest reward gear		 - Time-limited gear

- Gear rented with Contribution Points

- Gear incompatible with Weapon Exchange Coupon
- Shai’s Sol
- Life Skill gear for main and sub-weapon slots like Matchlock
