CLASS CHANGES
We've changed how all Speed Reduction debuffs work. Now when applied in PvP, all Speed Reduction debuffs 1) cannot be stacked if applied from skill use, 2) but can be stacked if one debuff is from skill use and the other from a skill add-on. As a result, Speed Reduction debuffs will be capped at a maximum of 60% (50% from skills, 10% from skill add-ons). Due to how disruptive these types of debuffs can be, we had addressed these types in a previous update, but we decided to take a closer look at how these debuffs stack for today.

● The debuff with the strongest effects will always take priority.

KUNOICHI
Moon Storm and Sah Spree of Sonan skills were frequently utilized during PvE due to their Recover HP effect, but their actual damage was quite low. We've adjusted the damage of Sah Spree of Sonan upwards to match its longer casting time due to its segmented casting motion. For Moon Storm, we've increased the damage to ensure it deals significant damage at the start of a PvE combo when applying debuffs. We also changed Flow: Pinwheel Fury to now be comboed after other skills, as the skill would have your character appear before the caster to attack when activated, thus making it difficult to aim in the intended direction. To address this inconvenience, we decided to increase its damage so that you can deal considerable damage in any direction upon use.

Also, to ensure that the existing skill combos are not significantly affected, the cooldown of the Starfall skill has been adjusted to match that of the Star's Call.

ITEM

A broken crystal restoration function has now been added, meaning you no longer need to wait for recovery via the Support. This is a result of our efforts to provide players with a quicker turnaround when using the recovery service. The function can restore multiple broken crystals at once, which we know many Adventurers have been hoping for, and we have also increased the uses from twice to three times per year. As this service is now provided within the game UI, we hope it becomes more convenient and can be utilized effectively. With the appearance of new high level monster zones, many users have expressed concern over crystal breakage. We agree that this is an area that needs improvement, and we will carefully consider solutions to this and other issues.
  • Added a function that allows the restoration of crystals that were broken and destroyed upon death.
    • Broken crystals can be restored through the "Restore Crystals" button on the death screen.
    • Broken crystals can be checked and restored upon resurrection via the trash can button on the bottom right of the Inventory (I).
    • Crystals can be restored via the Crystal tab in Menu -> Adventurer Support -> Item Recover.


- The list of broken crystals can be checked on a Family basis, and crystals can be restored within 72 hours from the point of character death up to 3 times a year per Family.

* This limit resets upon your first login on Jan 1 of the new year.
- If you've lost multiple crystals at once, restoring all of them will only count as 1.
- Restored crystals will be delivered to your Crystal Inventory.
- Crystals broken with negative Family Karma (Karma Stats, Naval Fame) cannot be restored.

- The list of broken crystals before this feature update will not not displayed. 

- The existing recovery service through the Support will be remained until the Dec 20 (Wed) maintenance. (It will be remained up to 2 times for the existing crystal recovery.)
※ Crystals recovered via the Support previously willl not be counted towards the 3 annual restorations included in the updated "Restore Crystals" function.
( → If you have used all the crystal recovery service times through the Support previously, you can no longer proceed with inquiries through the Support, and you can use the crystal recovery via the in-game "Restore Crystals" feature. (3 times per year))

 

 
  • Removed the expiration date of the "[Event] Dim Origin of Dark Hunger".

    • Guild items you own can be found via the Find My Item (Ctrl + F) function.
 
  • Added details to boss gear/armor using the guaranteed PEN process regarding how to obtain each reform stone for reform levels I to IV.
  • Updated the description of Sunset Glow Crystal to include information about the types of upgradable Artina Sol.

 


MONSTER

Ulukita Monster Zones

In some monster zones, Adventurers found it challenging to maintain stability during PvE when equipped with Evasion gear, given the monsters' high Accuracy compared to high Damage Reduction gear. We've dialed down the monsters' Accuracy, allowing Adventurers with sufficient Evasion to dodge some monster attacks, even when equipped with Evasion gear.
  • Adjusted the monsters appearing in the Ulukita region as follows.
    Monster Zone Changes
    City of the Dead Decreased the Accuracy of monsters by approximately 23%.
    Tungrad Ruins Decreased the Accuracy of monsters by approximately 21%.
    Darkseekers' Retreat Decreased the Accuracy of monsters by approximately 21%.
    Changed the certain attack of the Mournful Darkseeker to apply normal damage instead of burn damage.
 

 

Crypt of Resting Thoughts

The previous patch allowed more classes to enter the Crypt of Resting Thoughts, so we've lessened the level of threat by changing the crowd control effects monsters can use. However, the level of tension in combat is maintained when you face powerful enemies, such as the Dark Knight or Raz'nal, where you need to block or evade their attacks to not be affected by crowd controls.
  • Changed the crowd control effects of the below monsters to either Stun or Stiffen.

[Dehkia] Olun's Valley

In Olun's Valley, Olun's Golem was being prematurely defeated during its left arm attack phase when a Shai used the Cloud Shield, resulting in the de-summoning of all its summoned monsters before they could be defeated. Initially, we considered adjusting the attack damage to prevent this, but realized it might add further inconvenience. Therefore, we've made changes allowing Adventurers to naturally defeat Olun's Golem without needing to deliberately manipulate damage output.
  • Increased the Max HP of Olun's Golem by 15%.
  • Changed the use condition of Olun's Golem's left arm ground attack mechanic from 60% to 70% of its HP.
  • Increased the number of junk items obtained from Olun's Golem as below:
    • Before: 1-3 → After: 5-15

  • Increased the drop rate of the Jewel of Illusion from monsters in [Dehkia] Olun's Valley by 10%.
    • Voidtouched Boulder Golem
    • Voidtouched Rock Golem
    • Voidtouched Indomitable Golem

  • Increased the number of golems summoned at a time when the Golem's Left Arm in [Dehkia] Olun's Valley is destroyed.
    • However, the total number of summoned golems is unchanged.
  • Changed the conditions for the appearance of the next group of golems or for Olun to wake up from shock in [Dehkia] Olun's Valley to ensure stable combat due to the increased number of summoned monsters.

  • Changed Golem's Left Arm in Olun's Valley and [Dehkia] Olun's Valley to not have Back Attack applied.
  • Decreased the max HP of Golem's Left Arm in Olun's Valley and [Dehkia] Olun's Valley by 33%.

 


 

Black Shrine

  • [Black Shrine] Removed the final attack of the explosion triggered to the left/right while in combat with Mudang Wraith.
  • [Black Shrine] Fixed the issue where the hit detection range and timing of the explosion triggered to the left/right while in combat with Mudang Wraith were not appropriate.
  • [Black Shrine] Fixed the issue where, during combat with the Golden Pig King boss at Calamity 6 and above, the shield sometimes could not be hit due to the topography when the Golden Pig King summoned a shield.

 


 

Dark Rift

  • Reduced the spawn duration of bosses appearing from Dark Rifts to a maximum of 7 days.
 

 
  • Improved some of the messages that appear during combat in the Gyfin Rhasia Temple Underground to be more natural.


NODE/CONQUEST WAR

  • Changed some of the Node War areas in the Wolf Hills and Western Guard Camp regions.


UI

  • Added the feature to open multiple selectable bundles at once.

 

  • Improved the clarity of the text displayed when creating and changing character names.
  • Fixed the issue where the processing icon displayed on the node with a house being built in the World Map (M) was rotating in the wrong direction.
  • Moved the World Map Camera Save button to the location of the function buttons at the bottom right. (was previously located at the top left of the screen in the World Map (M))
  • Changed the Imperial Delivery button to Imperial Crafting Delivery, which will guide you to the nearest Imperial Crafting Delivery NPC.
  • Added a magnifying glass icon to the Find Nearby NPC button on the World Map for the gamepad UI.
    • Improved the function so that when this button is used, the "Find Nearby NPC - All" screen is displayed.
  • Added color to the description at the bottom of the Lightstone infusion window, stating that only removal is possible for Lightstones equipped on transferred Artifacts.
  • Fixed the issue where the hotkeys (Enter, Space) did not work in the confirmation window when removing Lightstones.
  • Changed the name of the "Receive All" button in the Mail (B) window to "Collect Silver".

 


SYSTEM

  • Improved the server optimization.
  • Mitigated the issue where the game occasionally closes.
  • Fixed the issue where the game sometimes crashed when closing the World Map (M).
  • Fixed the issue where the game would sometimes crash when you have your pets taken out.


WEB

  • Changed some images on the Adventurer's Guide ranking of the official Black Desert website.
  • Improved the login and access request UI for the in-game Global Lab menu.

  • [Woosa, Maegu] Changed the exclusive idle action displayed when equipping the Salanar outfit to be the same as the Witch and Sorceress.
  • Removed a specific design aspect of the Agris costume.
  • Fixed the appearance of the EXP exchange coupon products in the Pearl Shop (F3) preview.
  • Fixed the issue where the dye was not immediately applied when setting the horse gear outfit to be invisible while equipping both the horse gear and the horse gear outfit.
  • Fixed the issue where items transferred through item copy could be discarded with the "Throw All Away" function.
  • Fixed the issue where it was impossible to climb up the area near the Priko at Iliya Island from underwater.
