Hello, Adventurers!

Lots of Adventurers have enthusiastically participated in Node/ Conquest Wars so far, but for many, it can be too complicated to understand.

So we’ve prepared a series of guides to explain the essentials of Node/Conquest Wars to make it easier for new Adventurers to join in on the fun!

There will be 3 parts to this series which will explain all the essentials from building forts to sieging a castle in a way that’s easy to understand.

In Part 1 -  ‘Installing Forts’, we’ll provide a detailed guide on how to construct forts in order to prepare for Node/Conquest Wars.

◆ Selecting a Node for Node War

There are a few things to decide before participating in Node Wars, like picking a day of the week.

Currently, Node Wars run from Sunday to Friday at 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM (GMT+3).

Each node will hold Node Wars on different days of the week and the nodes are divided into levels 1 through 3 based on the amount of taxes they collect.

The higher the level of the node, the higher the taxes will be and the number of annexes you can install around the fort will increase.

Higher level nodes tend to have more intense battles over them.

The guild should discuss which day and which node they should participate in Node War.

Detailed information on nodes can be brought up in the World Map (Hotkey M) by activating the ‘Node War Information’ filter in the top right corner and selecting a specific node.

▲ Turn on the Node War Information filter in the World Map and you’ll be able to see the occupying guild, taxes, the war day of the node selected.

◆ Forts are required for Node Wars

Once you have selected the node, it’s time to construct a fort in order to be able to participate in the Node War.

Guild masters and officers can purchase forts from the .

Types of forts that can be constructed within the Node/Conquest War can different so please make sure to buy the right one.

▲ Forts used in Node Wars are marked with a ‘[Node]’ in their names.

▲ Double check to see if the fort you’re buying can be used in the node you are at. Only ‘[Node] Square Fort’ can be used in every node.

After you’ve purchased a fort, it’s time to install it. You must check which regions you can construct the fort first.

Once you have checked, open the World Map (hotkey ‘M’) and select the ‘Node War Information’ filter to see the areas where forts can be installed.

▲ Setting the World Map filter to Node War information will show the Node Wars that are going on that day which will be marked with blue arrows.

If you want to participate in the Node War of a given node, you must construct a fort within the marked area.

▲ You can check where you can install forts by looking at the location/time bar in the minimap.

▲ Click on the ‘Show Node Installation Area’ icon above the minimap to see the Node War area.

▲ This is what you see when you click on the ‘Show Node Installation Area’ icon. The borders are green when you are outside and red when you are inside the war area.

Once you are in the right area, open your inventory and click on your fort to install it. You will see blue and red markers on the ground.

The red markers show where you cannot install your fort. Red markers are on areas that are too close to another guild’s fort, on a steep slope, too close to the border, on top of a road.

You also need 10 guild members online to install your fort.

▲ You can only install forts on top of the blue markers.

▲ Forts cannot be installed on blue markers that have an obstacle blocking it.

After you’ve placed your fort in the area, it will be automatically completed after 1 hour.

You can install your fort starting from an hour after the Node/Conquest War from the previous day and 2 hours before the Node/Conquest War begins.

You cannot install or demolish forts less than 2 hours before the war begins.

e.g. If your guild wants to participate in a Node War on Tuesday, you must install your

fort between 12:00 AM Tuesday ~ 7:00 PM Tuesday (GMT+3)

Once a fort is completed, you cannot demolish it so if you change your mind and decide to not participate in the Node War,

you must demolish the fort before it is completed and before 7:00 PM (GMT+3).

◆ Finding a Strategic Location

Your fort is the most important building and should be placed in a strategic location.

It is a good idea to install it somewhere that is hard to find, difficult to reach, and has a limited number of paths leading to it.

Try looking for the best location with all your members!

▲ This location can be difficult to defend since the location makes it easily accessible.

▲ This location is easier to defend. The fort is surrounded by buildings - making it harder to find - and the path leading up to it is narrow.

Today, we looked at how to install a fort and participate in a Node War. Once you know the specifics, it’s not that complicated.
