This is The MMORPG Black Desert.

After the maintenance on 3/1 (Thu), we confirmed a bug that awarded 2 pets and 20 feed items when Adventurers purchased the '[Ninja] Metal Piercing' from the Pearl Shop.

We promptly took down the item from the Pearl Shop soon after the bug was confirmed in order to address the issue.

Please note the actions that will be taken against those users that abused the Pearl Shop Item bug according to our Operational Policy and Terms of Service.

1. Issue Details

 1) When purchasing the '[Ninja] Metal Piercing' available in the Pearl Shop, Adventurers were wrongly awarded 2 pets and 20 feed items.

2. Actions Taken

1) Those that have purchased the bug items in order to acquire unfair profits will be penalized as below.

 - Extra items that have been gained unfairly through bug abuse will be retrieved (20 feed, 2 pets)

   *The original '[Ninja] Metal Piercing' item is not subject to retrieval.

 - Game restrictions depending on the severity of the bug abuse

 - Penalties depending on the severity of the bug abuse

  *Depending on the severity of the bug abuse, the penalty retrieved will be up to 2 times the profit gained.

 2) The retrieval of abuse items will be as follows:

  - Pets: The highest marketplace price will be retrieved in silver.

    *If the user does not possess the necessary amount of silver,

     additional silver coins may be retrieved continuously until the necessary amount has been retrieved.

  - Feed: Items will be retrieved

    *Additional feed items that have been used may be retrieved at a later date.
