We want to inform about the details and our action regarding an issue where Trading EXP could be abnormally transferred by using a Trading EXP Transfer Coupon.

When we first confirmed this issue, we temporarily suspended the sale and use of the Trading EXP Transfer Coupon in all service regions on December 27, 2020.

Life Skill EXP Transfer Coupons were created as a quality-of-life convenience for our Adventurers in mind. Not only did it make it possible for you to change your “main Life Skill character” by allowing you to transfer your Life Skill EXP, but you could even move various characters’ Life Skill levels to unify them on one character as well.

However, due to an issue where Trading EXP could be abnormally transferred, we discovered it was possible to exploit the Trading EXP Transfer Coupon by understanding the details behind this issue.

After the temporary suspension of the sale and use of the Trading EXP Transfer Coupon, we performed an investigation of all Adventurers who used this item on all regions. As a result, we were able to confirm that none of the Adventurers on the Turkey & Mena server exploited the coupon.

Thus, the Trading EXP Transfer Coupon is now re-available for purchase as the item has been fixed after the maintenance on April 14 (Wed).

Additionally, after we discovered this issue, we also checked to see if any of the other Life Skill EXP Transfer Coupons were possibly affected by a similar problem, and we were able to confirm that none of the other Life Skill EXP Transfer Coupon had a similar issue.

In order to prevent such issues in the future, the Black Desert team will perform more thorough testing of future items and introduce additional monitoring of Adventurers’ levels for all the in-game content that is available.
