After the March 24th maintenance, we discovered an issue where the Avast anti-virus program incorrectly flags Black Desert.

■ Related Issues
- Opening the launcher causes a “Failed to download the patch file.” message to appear and you're unable to run the Black Desert client.
- A “load option” pop-up window appears and the game shuts down
■ How to Resolve the Issues
1) Open your active Avast anti-virus program
2) In the left-side menu, go to [Protection] → [Virus Chest] → Look for BlackDesert64.exe in the detected files list → “...” → click [Restore]
3-1) In the right-hand menu, go to (≡) → [Settings] → [Protection] → [Ransomware Shield] → [View allowed/blocked apps] → Look for [BlackDesert64.exe] in the list of blocked apps → “...” → Disable [Ransomware Shield] → [OK, STOP]
3-2) In the right-hand menu, go to (≡) → [Settings] → [Protection] → [Ransomware Shield] → [View allowed/blocked apps] → Add [BlackDesert] to allowed apps → “...” → Activate [Ransomware Shield] → [Add]
