The launcher will appear if it's installed.
If it doesn't, try to run your downloaded launcher.

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_TR.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

2 Start the game once installation is complete.

Greetings, Adventurers.   

 

During October 17 (Wed) maintenance, we changed the security program to Easy Anti Cheat.   

  

Adventurers with issues related to the security module and security program change should refer to the following.

 

    1. Q. I can’t play other games while running Black Desert.

      A. You cannot play Black Desert at the same time with games that are using a different version of EAC.

    1. Q. [EAC] I get an EAC related error message when installing the game client.

      A. EAC related errors usually occur when the security module does not have elevated "Administrator Privileges” during the installation process. Please follow all the steps below to manually install the security program.

    2. ◆ How to Manually Install Security Program
      · [Black Desert Online Installation Directory] → Right-click the 'EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe' file in the [EasyAntiCheat] folder → Click “Run as Administrator” and install

      * Default Black Desert Online Installation Directory: [Default Drive] → [Pearlabyss] → [BlackDesert]

  1. Q. I get an error message stating: [Untrusted system file]

    A. You may encounter the [Untrusted system file] error message if a corrupted system (.dll) file was discovered while launching the game.

    Please follow all of the steps below to repair corrupted system files.

    ◆ Repair Corrupted System Files Using System File Checker Tool (SFC.exe)

    1. Open an elevated (administrator privileges) Command Prompt ("cmd" in Windows search)

    2. Enter [sfc /scannow] (without brackets)

    3. Restart your PC and launch the game

    * The steps above will automatically repair corrupted files.

    If corrupted files are not found even after following the steps above, please try the following:
    1. Open an elevated (administrator privileges) Command Prompt ("cmd" in Windows search)

    2. Enter [DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth] (without brackets)

    3. Once step 2 is complete, enter [DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth] (without brackets)

    4. Once step 3 is complete, restart your PC and launch the game

  1. Q. I get an error message stating: [Game Security Violation Detected]

  2. A. You may encounter this error message if a risk factor was discovered when launching the game.
    Please try closing all detected programs and restart Black Desert Online.

Q. I get an error message stating: [Patched Windows boot loader detected. (0xC0010002)]

A. You may encounter this error message if the kernel memory space is manipulated or tampered with.
Please try scanning your PC with an antivirus program and ensure you have a genuine copy of Windows with the latest updates installed before trying to re-launch the game.

  1. Q. I get an error message stating: [EasyAntiCheat cannot run if Driver Signature Enforcement has been disabled]

    A. You encounter this error message if the Driver Signature Enforcement is disabled. Please follow the steps below to re-enable the Driver Signature Enforcement.

  2. ◆ How to Enable Driver Signature Enforcement

    - Open an elevated (administrator privileges) Command Prompt (cmd).

    - Enter the following commands (without brackets):

    · [ bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF ]

    · [ bcdedit -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS OFF ]

    - Restart Windows
    If the same issue persists after trying the steps above, please try the following:

  3. ◆ How to Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

    - Windows → Settings → Update & Security → Recovery (Left-side menu) → Advanced startup

    - From the “Choose an option” window go to Troubleshoot → Advanced options → See more recovery options → Startup Settings → Restart

    - After restarting, select “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” from the Startup Settings window. (Press “7” on the keyboard)

    - Launch Black Desert Online

    * The steps above are applicable to Windows 10.

  1. Q. I get an error message stating: [Failed to init Auth]
    A. You may encounter this error message if EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) fails to automatically install.
    You can troubleshoot this issue by manually installing it with the installation file located in the folder Black Desert Online is installed in.
    Please follow the steps below to manually install EAC.
    ◆ How to Manually Install Security Program

    · [Black Desert Online Installation Directory] → Right-click the “EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe” file located in the [EasyAntiCheat] folder → Click “Run as administrator”
    * Default Black Desert Online Installation Directory: [Default Drive] → [Pearlabyss] → [BlackDesert]
    If the problem persists even after manually installing the security program, please download the file below and right-click the file to “Run as administrator.” Afterward, please try launching Black Desert Online.

  1. Q. I get an error message stating: [The application was unable to start correctly. (0xc0000142)]

    A. You may encounter this error message if you have corrupted system files.
    Please try following the steps below in order to repair the corrupted system files.

    1. Open an elevated (administrator privileges) Command Prompt ([cmd] in Windows search)

    If the issue persists even after following the steps above, please download and install the corresponding Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package for your operating system. Afterward, please try launching the game.

  1. Q. I get an error message stating: [Error Code: 29].

    A. Please try following the steps below in order to resolve the above error code.

     

    1) Run a virus scan with an antivirus program

    2) Update a licensed version of Windows to the latest version

     

    If the above steps don’t resolve your issue, please try the following steps to proceed with an in-place upgrade install of Windows.

    ※ An in-place upgrade install is a method of re-installing Windows while leaving user files and programs entirely alone and only overwriting the operating system files.

     

    ◆ Windows 10 In-Place Upgrade Install

    1) While Windows is running, insert the installation media and run the installation program

    2) Check “Not right now” on the “Get updates, drivers and optional features” screen and click “Next”

    3) Click “Accept” on the “Applicable notices and license terms” screen

    4) On the “Ready to install” screen, confirm your “Windows version” and that “Keep personal files and apps” is checked, then click “Install”

    ※ Please be aware that selecting any option other than “Keep personal files and apps” from the “Change/Choose what to keep” screen may delete your files and/or apps.

    5) Proceed with installing Windows

     

    If the issue persists after following the steps above, please contact Support with the following file attached.

    ※ [C Drive] → [Windows] → [System32] → Attach the file "ntoskrnl.exe"

If additional error codes occur, please copy the exact error code(s) and details into a text file attached so it can help us identify the issue.
