This is just the beginning!

The Season Server for Season Characters is now open!

Only Season Characters can enter a Season Server, and you can only create 1 Season Character per Family at a time. Unlike normal servers, the season server always has Combat EXP +100% and Skill EXP +20% buffs active for faster leveling.

What’s different about the Season Server?

Forced PvP can’t be activated on the Season Server, and PvP is only possible during Guild Wars. World Bosses can be defeated on the Season Servers, and their HP is shared with other normal servers.

Fughar’s 40 Days of Quests (Season Completion)

Season quests are daily quests that can be accepted from Fughar. By fulfilling each daily quest’s objectives (such as gathering successfully, using certain items, obtaining knowledge, etc.), and completing all of them, you’ll see yourself become a more accomplished Adventurer than from when you first started Black Desert.

PEN (V) Capotia accessories are similar in stats to yellow-grade TET (VI) accessories, so we really recommend that you complete all 40 days of quests to get it!

Gear Enhancement Aid

By completing Fughar’s daily quests or going to Fughar equipped with TRI (III)/TET (IV) Tuvala gear, you can get items to boost your chances at successful enhancements.

※ The Advice of Valks can only be obtained during the Season Server period, so make sure go to Fughar and get them before the end of the season!

For weapons and armor, enhancement levels go from +1 - +15, PRI (I), DUO (II), TRI (III), TET (IV), and the highest-level being PEN (V). Accessories, on the other hand, go from PRI (I), DUO (II), TRI (III), TET (IV), and PEN (V).

There’re also differences between weapons/armor and accessories when enhancing. For weapons and armor, once you start enhancing past the PRI (I) level, enhancement failures will cause your enhancement level to fall; for accessories, failing an enhancement means the accessories are destroyed regardless of their enhancement level.

Get Skill EXP Aid

Upon completing the main quests for Balenos, Serendia, Calpheon, and Mediah, it’s time to go look for Fughar.

Why? Because he’ll give you the “Secret Book of the Misty Breeze” as a reward, which grants you tons of skill EXP to help you learn new skills or level up the skills you’re already using.

If you’re not sure where to go next in your Black Desert adventure, we recommend completing the main quest of each territory with the Black Spirit! Progressing through the main quest gives you Contribution points, Knowledge, and Skill EXP that’ll help you in your future adventures.

You can check the for main quests in the “Main Quest” tab of the Quest List (O) window and get the “Secret Book of the Misty Breeze” upon completing the main quests for Balenos, Serendia, Calhpeon, and Mediah. The “Secret Book of the Misty Breeze” gives you tons of skill EXP, so make sure to get it!

A box containing a variety of items, such as leveling aid buffs and gold bars, to help you level up and grow.

Only season characters may open it, and not only does it contain items to aid you in your leveling, but it also has the next level’s adventure aid box inside as well.

Opening all the boxes starting with the [Season] New Adventure Box until the [Season] Lv. 61: Leveling Aid Box will award you Time-filled Black Stone x1100, Refined Magical Black Stone x120, Tuvala Ore x56, Valks’ Cry x33, Advice of Valks x20, and more.

Also, note that you will gain the “Leveling Aid Buff” the moment you open the box.

[Event] Blessing of Kamasylve

This item grants a variety of buffs from +2 energy recovery rate, item drop rate +20%, increased market warehouse capacity, and more.

Item Collection Increase Scroll

Item that gives you an item drop rate +100% and item drop amount +50% buff. Useful when defeating monsters in the hunting grounds.

[Event] Elion's Tear

Can instantly revive your character if they die. Also restores Combat EXP that you lost when dying.

[Event] Artisan's Memory

Item that increases the max durability recovery amount by 5 times when recovering an item’s durability.

Naughty Dog

Item that lets you summon a “Naughty Dog” pet.

Pets are loyal companions that can pick up loot, detect nearby hostile Adventurers, and have other special skills.

Advice of Valks

Item that can change your enhancement chance when enhancing gear.

Ancient Explorer's Compass

You’ll probably hear that it’s easy to get lost in the Desert or Great Ocean in Black Desert. The “Ancient Explorer’s Compass” can find your location even in the Desert or Great Ocean.

[Transaction Butler] Ethan

To sell and buy items on the Central Market, you need to put in and take out items from the Central Market Warehouse.

Transaction Butlers and Maids let you use the Central Market Warehouse from anywhere.

Perfume of Courage

Consumable item that gives you All AP +20, Max HP +200, Attack Speed +5, and other powerful buffs upon use.

1 Otter Emoji (Permanent)

A “Surprised Otter” emote that you can use in the in-game chat window.

You can get a PEN (V) accessory?!

After reaching Lv. 60 and Lv. 61, you can receive a PEN (V) Tuvala accessory as a reward from Challenge (Y).

Q&A

Q. Will I still get the PEN (V) Capotia accessory if I delete my season character after completing Fughar’s 40 days of quests?

A. You’ll still get the PEN (V) Capotia accessory even if you delete your season character after completing all of Fughar’s 40-day quests. However, the 40 days of quests can only be completed once per Family, so you can only get 1 PEN (V) Capotia accessory per Family.

Q. Completing Fughar’s 40 days of quests sounds too difficult for me… What should I do?

A. Don’t worry! The requirements for completing Fughar’s 40 days of quests only cover the basics for getting familiar with Black Desert.

Q. Is the Family-bound “Tuvala Gear” given in form of a box at the end of the season? Or does the Tuvala Gear in your possession just become Family-bound?

A. When the season comes to an end, the Tuvala gear of each respective type with the highest enhancement levels that your season character possesses will become Family-bound while the rest are all deleted.

If you have more than 1 of the same type with the same enhancement level, only the gear for the current season character will be changed, while the rest will be deleted.

For example, if you have a TET (IV) and TRI (III) Tuvala Helmet, the TRI (III) helmet will be deleted, and the TET (IV) helmet will be changed to Family-bound. However, 2 will changed for earring and rings.

Additionally, for Tuvala weapons, the weapon will remain for the same class after being changed.

Q. Will a character created for the season server become a normal character when the season ends?

A. Yes, season characters will be changed to normal characters when the season ends, and you can continue to play them afterwards.

Q. Will the materials for the “Inexhaustible Potions” Odore's Spirit Essence and Ornette's Spirit Essence drop in the season server?

A. The drop rate of these items in the season server will be the same as the normal servers. You don’t have to worry; all treasure item materials will drop in the season servers.

Q. Can season characters access the normal servers during the season period?

A. Season characters can access both the season servers and the normal servers. However, normal characters cannot access the season servers.

Q. Do I have to fulfill specific requirements or reach a certain level with a season character to get the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon?

A. All Adventurers who create a season character will get the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon.

Q. Can I enhance or use Caphras Stones on the Boss Gear exchanged by using the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon?

A. Yes, you can enhance and use Caphras Stones on the Boss Gear exchanged by using the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon.

Q. Can I sell the exchanged Boss Gear on the Central Market?

A. The boss gear exchanged by using the [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon cannot be sold on the Central Market.

Q. Can I equip the exchanged Boss Gear on other characters?

A. Yes you can, the boss gear exchanged by the using [Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon is a Family-bound item. In other words, you can use this gear on other characters as well, such as when leveling a new character.

Q. Can I use any leftover season enhancement items (Time-filled Black Stone, Refined Magical Black Stone, etc.) in the next season?

A. You won’t be able to use any remaining season enhancement items in the next season. Any remaining items will be deleted/removed before the start of the next season.

Q. Do I need to Fughar’s 40 days of quests 40 days in a row? What happens if I miss a day?

A. No, you don’t have to do Fughar’s 40 days of quests in a row every day.

As mentioned before, as long as you complete the first quest within the season period, you can continue to complete the 40-day quests with the season character after the end of the season server.

Even after the end of the season server, you can still get enhancement items, such as the Time-filled Black Stones, for completing Fughar’s 40 days of quests. But since you can’t enhance Tuvala gear once the season ends, you should sell them to the NPC Shops!

Q. Can season characters party up for party hunting grounds? Also, can season characters equip normal characters’ gear on the season server?

A. Yes, you can party up with season characters and go to party hunting grounds like Mirumok, Gyfin, and etc., but season characters cannot equip normal character gear.

Q. Can I create a season character if I delete my current season character?

A. Yes you can, if you delete your season character, you can create a season character again before the end of the season server period.

Q. Can I bring Advice of Valks obtained on the season server to normal servers?

A. Yes you can, all items obtained on the season servers can be moved to normal characters. However, season-exclusive gear cannot be equipped by normal characters.

Q. Are there any plans for a Arsha like server for the season server?

A. Yes there are; we plan to introduce a season character only Arsha server in 2 – 5 weeks.
