MAJOR UPDATES - Agris Fever

● Complete the "Book of Margahan" Adventure Log with a character Lv. 60 or higher to receive the long-sealed power of "Agris Fever."

- You can obtain and complete the quest "Adventure Log: Agris, the Ancient Secret" from the Black Spirit, then talk with Edan to obtain the Book of Margahan.

- Adventurers who've completed all 5 chapters of the Book of Margahan Vol. 1 can accept the quest "Adventure Log: Agris, Prophecy in the Past" from the Black Spirit. Once completed, adventurers can then start on the Book of Margahan Vol. 2.

  • ● Once all 5 chapters of the "Book of Margahan" Vol. 1 are completed, Agris Fever will activate, recovering 3,000 points per day up to a maximum of 10,000 points. These points can be consumed when defeating certain monsters to increase junk item drops up to 100%.

- Agris Fever points are consumed differently based on the monster defeated.

- Agris Fever points are shared by all characters of the same family.

- Click on the Agris Fever icon to see the Agris Fever UI window pop-up display your current number of points.

- Agris Fever points are recovered every morning at 06:00.

  • ● Once you've completed the "Book of Margahan" Vol. 2 and accepted all the chapters' rewards, you will recover 4,000 points per day, up to a maximum of 20,000 points. You will see item drops increase up to 150% when defeating certain monsters.

Agris Fever was designed for Adventurers who enjoy fighting monsters for short periods of time each day.

You can unlock the Agris Fever content by offering tribute through the Adventure Log to Agris, the Balenosian ancient god of prosperity. Regardless of whether you've logged into the game or not, you will recover a fixed amount of points every day at a given time, which will be consumed to grant a buff increasing the amount of junk item drops when defeating monsters.

Agris Fever points have a cap of 20,000, so it's best to regularly consume them as they're recovered.

You may feel that it is difficult to maintain the Agris Fever effect over a long period of time once you actually try using it out in the world. We didn't want this effect to become a necessity for defeating monsters such as already existing food, elixirs, and scrolls. We hope that Adventurers who only fight monsters for short periods per day to enjoy a more efficient playtime, as well as feel a bit more content due to slightly heavier inventory bags.

  • ● Using other items with the Agris Fever effect that also increase item drop amount have the maximum total effect increased from 100% to 200%.

※ The amount of Agris Fever points consumed per monster can be checked on the [Agris Fever Adventurer's Guide].

NEW & IMPROVEMENTS

|  CONTENTS

  • ● Revamped the byproducts obtained from Cooking and Alchemy.
    • We revamped Cooking and Alchemy byproducts. Cooking and Alchemy byproducts date back to one of the earliest content best reflecting the Black Desert philosophy of allowing adventurers to engage in any type of content to grow or level up their characters. However, due to their diversity, there were some rather disappointing moments when byproducts outnumberd the amount of food cooked. Also, they heavily influenced the inventory and weight limit as well. Continuing with our efforts to improve convenience for our adventurers, we came to think hard about enhancing the byproduct concept by drastically reducing their types, and here we are announcing the fruits of our labor.

Now you will only gain 1 type of byproduct from Cooking or Alchemy. You can exchange this new byproduct with another byproduct you may desire. Also, you may also exchange large quantities of byproducts to focus on receiving the ones you want all at once. With exchanging large amounts of byproducts all at once, we wanted to keep the exchanged amount as close to the previous rate as possible, yet due to the previous amount of Contribution EXP exchangeable was set pretty high, the new exchange rate was unfortunately adjusted a bit lower than before. However, we will continue to work on this matter, thinking up better ways to update Cooking and Alchemy contents to make them a more meaningful and enjoyable experience.

- There is a chance you can obtain "Witch's Delicacy" from Cooking.

- There is a chance you can obtain "Mysterious Catalyst" from Alchemy.

* You can exchange Witch's Delicacy for items with Nadia Rowen in Olvia.

Witch's Delicacy x10

Beer x500

Witch's Delicacy x10

Milk x120

* You can exchange Mysterious Catalyst for items with Bofin in Olvia.

Clear Liquid Reagent x200

Contribution EXP 900 + Alchemy EXP x30

  • Added additional rewards upon defeating Savage Rift bosses.

- Upon defeating bosses and receiving rewards, you will also gain a buff which restores 5000 HP over 30 seconds.

Changed the Berserker to appear more intimidating during Beast Form.

Using the main skill Raging Thunder in Beast Form will now give Super Armor. We also improved the input keys for Prime: Raging Thunder, Prime: Beastly Wind Slash, and Prime: Frenzied Destroyer.

  • Drastic Measure - Changed skill to maintain charging while holding RMB when used during Asura.
  • Black Spirit: Drastic Measure - Fixed the issue of skill not activating when used during Asura.

Kunoichi Succession involves a playstyle of suppressing your foes by distracting their field of vision with quick movements and agile attack skills.

However, there were several skills that were overly effective and not in line with this playstyle, thus we lowered the PvP damage for Black Spirit: Prime: Flash Slash and other skills.

  • Changed the side profile of the Basic Appearance.
  • Removed split damage effect in Main Weapon, Awakening and Succession skills.
  • Black Spirit: Flash Slash, Black Spirit: Prime: Flash Slash - Adjusted the Stun effect to only apply to the skill's first hit instead of all hits.

  • Added explanations on the split damage effect for the following skills.

- Ninjutsu: Shadow Explosion

- Prime: Shadow Explosion

For Mystic Succession, we focused on increasing the utility of most skills, as well as reducing the pressures of Martial Spirit Shard gameplay. First, many Mystic adventurers pointed out Prime: Hidden Claw, Prime: Fist Fury and other skills as lacking the most utility, thus we listened to their feedback and made these skills more accessible to use when entering or retreating from battle. Also, it is important for the Mystic to quickly weave combos while amassing Martial Spirit Shards in the process, and due to Crouching Wolf's consumption (of Martial Spirit Shards) reported to be way excessive, we reduced the consumed amount of shards to allow for a stronger continuation of combos.

  • Crouching Wolf - Improved skill to be enhanced for Succession.

- Succession: Crouching Wolf - Now consumes Martial Spirit Shard x10 to increase Attack Speed +20% for 10 sec.

  • Flow: Prey Hunt - Changed skill to activate when Martial Spirit Shards are more than 10, and now only consumes Martial Spirit Shard x10.
  • Prime: Hidden Claw - Changed skill's All DP reduction effect to apply during moving backwards and on good hits.
  • Prime: Hidden Claw - Changed final hit to apply a Knockdown effect instead of a Knockback.
  • Prime: Hidden Claw - Improved certain skills to combo more smoothly before or after using this skill.

- During Thunder Pound

- Charging Wave Orb

- After Roaring Tiger

- After Rage Hammer

- After each Fist Fury hit

  • Prime: Hidden Claw - Increased duration of Super Armor effect applied while moving backwards during the skill.
  • Prime: Fist Fury - Increased skill's backwards moving distance, and changed so no collision occurs during moving backwards.
  • Prime: Fist Fury - Improved skill to combo with 3 hits moving forward while using the following skills.

- Flash Step

- Sea Burial

- Wave Orb

- Roaring Tiger

- Thunder Pound

- After moving backwards with Hidden Claw

  • Flash Step - Improved to combo smoothly into Roaring Tiger during skill use.

| DARK KNIGHT

● Removed all split damage effects from Main Weapon skills.

Just as adventurers sent us a variety of opinions regarding the issue, we carried out improving Lahn Awakening. There were especially a lot of requests regarding her attack speed and attack range, which we enhanced by fixing the left and right attack range of Tailspin and allowing Flow: Vice to combo into other skills. For Lahn Succession, we lowered some of the PvP damage and block effects (i.e. super armor) of her major skills accordingly. Currently Lahn Succession is exceling in a variety of PvP situations due to her maneuverability and stability, which we adjusted to be more in line with other classes. However, we changed some of the information revealed 2 weeks prior at the Black Desert Global Lab.

  • Tailspin - Increased comboing speed into Deadly Dance after this skill's 2nd hit.
  • Flow: Vice - Increased comboing speed into Deadly Dance, Ultimate: Primrose Sprint, Bloody Stride, Soul Raid, Eradication after skill use.
  • Eradication - Increased skill's attack speed.
  • Bridled Despair - Expanded the skill's left and right attack range, and changed the skill description as follows.

- Extra hit damage increase while channeling skill by 973% x 2, up to 5 hits → Extra hit damage increase while channeling skill by 973% x 1, up to 10 hits

  • Bleeding Hearts - Changed the pulling hit movement to connect more smoothly.
  • Blood Moon Twist - Changed the skill's activation during Tailspin's 2nd hit from RMB to the F key.

  • Prime: Salp'uri Purge - Removed the skill's Super Armor effect.

  • Prime: Blade Dance - Fixed the issue of the Super Armor effect not being applied from certain standing slash hits, and added this to the skill description.

For Guardian Succession, we worked on the awkwardness felt between skills during combos.

Particularly, many adventurers highlighted Prime: Axe Throw as a skill lacking utility, thus we improved it by adding skills that can be comboed after its use, as well as adding the Forward Guard effect during the 1st hit to make it safer to use the skill. Also, we improved on making combos flow more smoothly especially when mixing Succession and Main Weapon skills together, thus making it feel less awkward between skills during such combos.

  • Prime: Axe Throw - Added Forward Guard effect to the skill's 1st hit.
  • Prime: Beast Demolisher - Increased the skill's left and right attack range.
  • Black Blood's Descent, Rockslide - Increased the skills' attack range.
