Hello, adventurers.
This is The MMORPG, Black Desert.
We’d like to announce the updates made to the Black Desert as of 2018 January 4 th (Thursday).
During today’s maintenance, we made such updates as “Media Part 2, Node/Conquest War, Calpheon 1 server has been added, attendance reward and 26 cases of update (Patch volume approx. 369 MB)

【Event】
● Attendance Reward Event will be held.

● Collect the Pirate’s Rum! Event will be held.

【System】
● Calpheon 1 server has been added.
● Node/Conquest War has been added.
- Node/Conquest War will be held in the following channels: Calpheon 1, Balenos 1, Serendia 1

● Fixed the slow response time of the Pearl Shop and Marketplace during purchase and browsing.
【Character】
● Fixed the issue where pressing directional keys while turning at an angle larger than 45 degrees during an auto-run will make it impossible to stop the character.
【Item】
● Icon color for Food buffs and Elixir buffs are now differentiated.
- Elixir: Violet
- Food: Yellow
● The HP recovery amount of Carrot and Carrot Juice has been doubled.
● The following items are now bound to Family. (Previously character-bound)

● Fixed an issue where certain buff icons did not have the buff values in their description text.
【Quest, Knowledge】
● Fixed the issue where quest navigation for Shroud Knights Reconnaissance was pointing at the top of a cave.
● The buttons for crossroad for the quest related to Al Rhundi have been rearranged.
● The summon range of Org during the quest [Boss] Org the Greedy has been shrunk.
● Fixed the awkward animation for Deer’s eating motion.
● Fixed the issue where players have been able to exploit trade by playing Ancient Stone Chamber quest through teleport.
【UI】
● Fixed the issue where UI window gets frozen after changing UI Hotkey Settings.
● Fixed the issue where NPCs did not rotate by pressing A, D, during Conversation mode.
● Fixed the graphical glitch on Wizard’s Inquirer's Destiny Hat.
● Fixed the issue where Leather Saddle of Fighting Spirit and Leather Combat Saddle were not being displayed properly.
● Fixed the issue where Wizard’s default body and the body after Reset All were different.
● Fixed the graphical glitch of Warrior's Clead Outfit that occurred on certain poses.
● Fixed an issue where the facial skin part pops out of the helm when customizing after wearing the [Warrior] Snowflake Suit.
● Fixed an issue where the hair graphics are broken when wearing the [Witch] Treant Camouflage suit.
● Fixed an issue where the grass was floating in the air in Altinova region.
● Fixed an issue where underwater effects are applied in certain places of the Serendia Shrine.
【Other】
● Conditions for re-watching story cutscenes have been changed.
- The re-watch button will only appear after completing the main story quest associated with the video AND the following quest.
- This is to prevent the re-watch button from appearing out of context for new characters when another character in the Family has already completed the quest.
● Fixed the sinkhole at residence Heidel 7-5 and the pass-through walls in front of Heidel Workshop.
● Termian coastline will be changed into a Safe Zone after the maintenance on January 11th. The remaining forts will be removed during the next week’s patch, so please do not build any forts in this area for the Node war/Conquest War.
