Hello, adventurers.
This is The MMORPG, Black Desert.
We’d like to announce the updates made to the Black Desert as of 2017 December 28th (Thursday).
During today’s maintenance, we made such updates as “Ninja Character, expansion of the enhancement limit of equipment and 43 cases (Patch volume approx. 767 MB)

【Event】
● Firework experts will appear on 00:00 AM of January First, and send off fireworks to celebrate the new year, 2018.
- This NPC will disappear on 06:00 AM. They will use fireworks on each hour.
● Winter tree decorations have been added.
: Period : 2017 12/ 28 ~ 1/ 4 before maintenance.
● Winter Looting effects have been added.

● Ninja Level Up Event! Ninja update event will be held.

● Collect Assassin’s Seals! Ninja Update event will be held

● Complete 10 Quests!, Ninja Update event will be held.

【Contents】
● A new class, ‘Ninja’ has been added.
● Now you can obtain Hard Black Crystal Shard and Sharp Black Crystal Shard.
● Now you can use Concentrated Magical Black Stones to enhance the weapons and armors to Pri, Duo and Tri. However, accessories can be enhanced up to Tet and Pen.
● Now workers can manage fences and the Worker Exchange has been added.
● Now guild members can be set as protected members.
【Character】
● Fixed an issue that now summoned creatures by enemy adventurer do not follow you when using Emergency Escape.
● Fixed an issue where the lip for standby expressions was broken after customizing the lip part.
● A fix has been made that now your character can continuously sit and roll while holding down Q and W.
● A fix has been made so the main weapon now disappears when lying down.
【Wizard/Witch】
● Mana Absorption, Blizzard, Meteor Shower has been changed to attack the caster's aiming point.
- Meteor Shower Black Spirit 200% is excluded.
【Tamer】
● Fixed an issue where the sheathing action was awkward when you used TAB key while moving.
【Berserker】
● A fix has been made to show the effect when doing normal attack after jumping.
【Sorceress】
● Fixed an issue where the camera shaking effects lasted for a while after using the Dream of Doom with the Black Spirit.
【Ranger】
● Superarmor effect will be applied when Blasting Gust is not in cooldown. .
【Item】
● Good feed and Organic Feed’s item grade have been changed to Green.
● Following item prices in the shop have been changed.
- Cheap Feed: 500 -> 3,000 Silver
● This itme’s weight has been changed.
- Organic Feed: 0.3LT -> 0.2LT
【Monster】
● A fix has been made that attacking Saunil Mobile Catapult motion is more naturally displayed.
【NPC】
● Fixed an issue where monster NPCs often teleported.
【Pearl Shop】
● [Warrior] Fixed an issue where the right part of the pants penetrates the skirt when wearing Clead Outfit Set.
【UI】
● Fixed an issue where the Pearl Box activation effect when buying a Pearl box is now correctly displayed.
● A fix has been made so that now All Worker List is displayed when using Beer item by adding it to Quick Slot or Auto-align Slot.
● A fix has been made to F1 key: a help window will be shown instead of Hotkey Help.
● Buttons have been added to the bottom of the help window: Hotkey Help, and Crafting Note.
● The Wizard portrait on the Character Creation window and the Wizard Outfit banner in the Pearl Shop has been changed.
● Fixed an issue where the bird meat icon was missing from the Crafting Note.
● The Purchase button of the Marketplace window has been enlarged.
● Fixed an issue where the inventory effect was not being activated while performing processing.
● Fixed an issue where the message was not being displayed while changing characters.
● Fixed an issue where the error message was not being displayed when Alchemy failed.
● Fixed an issue where dividing lines were being displayed on the Minimap near Velia.
● Fixed an issue where Parking sign over horse has been partially cut off.
● Fixed an issue where Cash Shop gets activated during tutorial quest.
● Fixed an issue where a thick black line is shown on the thigh of the Witch character.
【Sound】
● Enhancement Start sound and Success/Fail sound have been added to the Enhancement window.
【System】
● Fixed an issue where the focus was off when clicking on the world map.
● The maximum number of trade items in your inventory that could be destroyed when the player, or the mount dies has been fixed to 10.
● Fixed an issue where Emergency Escape was not allowed when Grappled by enemy.
● The effects(High, Medium, Low) have been optimized to fit the graphic option (High, Medium, Low).
【ETC】
● The default character avatar for Wizard has been changed from old to young.
- The default wizard banner in Pearl Shop and Customization have been changed from old to young image.
● Fixed an issue where the location of the NPC Norma Leight is incorrectly displayed when trying to get the knowledge of Gorgath.
● The Safety Zone of Demi River across Heidel has been extended by 3m on average.
● Fixed an issue where your character falls into the ground next to 7-5 Heidel.
● Fixed an issue where the UI window freezes after changing the UI hotkey settings.
