    We had a short interview with the guild - DarkPhoenix; they were selected from the #GuildStories #Medium/SmallGuilds #Welcoming event!

    First, take a look at the story they sent to us and then, read about the DarkPhoenix guild in detail in this interview~


DarkPhoenix

Some of us were fishing in Grana, while some of us were grinding Fogan. It was a simple day as you can imagine. The other officer in the guild (my cousin) and I were doing an ordinary fishing challenge with the usual chit chat on Discord. Everyone quieted into silence, as music was picked to be played. Everyone was calmly doing their farming or taking care of their professions. I don't remember what day it was, but Garmoth would be spawned at 23:15 and everyone had completely forgotten about it. While everyone was on the Discord channel, suddenly someone started to scream "******* I'M DYING" and everyone started to ask what was happening.

My cousin - the other officer and I were just listening; it turned out that in Calpheon: Fogan territory, our poor friend's spot was attacked by two other Adventures. So, I told my cousin that we've got to go and help; he didn't say no. He threw his fishing rod into Grana River, mounted up and made his way to Fogans. What's funny here is that my cousin's mount was for one person and I didn't use mounts, but it wasn't enough to stop me. HAHA! I started to run from Granada to Sand Grain. In the meantime, time was closing in for Garmoth... I arrived to Sand Grain by running while our guild member and my cousin keep dying and killing, like a circle. I mounted my camel who is so handsome and noble (I can already hear you saying "you are riding a camel but not a horse?).

We went to Fogan and there they were, I was ready and I was cracking my knuckles, my character who had been fishing for days, was finally going to punch someone in the face! (Striker) I ran and attacked the player and a notification appeared: "Garmoth has Appeared!":):):):):)):) Personal PvP has ended... I ran from Granada to Fogan, I reached and started to PK but then what? Garmoth appeared! Everyone laughed at me in Discord channel, I hopped on my camel and started weeping, arrived to Sand Grain, right clicked to Grana and clicked the "T" button. People were still laughing so hard at me in the channel and I wasn't even able to speak. While my Striker was walking to Grana, I went to my bed and cried myself to sleep... :(

 

GM: What is your guild name? Please introduce the meaning of it if there is any.

  • DarkPhoenix: In fact, we were in another guild with friends before. Then, after I continued alone for a long time, we decided to reunite again; like being reborn from ashes. That's why we first chose Phoenix, a mythological animal. But, then we changed to DarkPhoenix to capture a different angle.

  2. GM: When was the guild was created and what made you create the guild?
  • DarkPhoenix: The guild has been active for about 6-7 months. We grow every day and new people join us. The reason we created the guild was to help out to those who have difficulty in starting the game like us. We wanted to become a community with them, do something together and make their game experience more enjoyable and fun, and that's how DarkPhoenix was built.

  2. GM: Was there a reason to participate in the event?
  • DarkPhoenix: Our reason for joining this event was not to gain something. That event just became an opportunity for us. We are having fun in this guild and experiencing wonderful things. We wanted to share those stories with others.

  2. GM: Please tell us about the story that you sent to us.
  • DarkPhoenix: Our guild just got into life skills opportunities and figured out that there is silver in that. There were only a few players trying to gain silver by defeating monsters. But as I said, everyone was so wrapped up in life skills that we were too far from the hunting grounds. Then we heard a shout in our discord channel,”They are killing me! Is there nobody?” Of course, we are more than just a guild, more like family, so we asked what happened as soon as we heard the sound, and before we get the answer we hit the road. We don't have Garmoth on our minds. Our only goal was to help our guild member. We went down a path which takes half an hour normally, but only took 5-10 minutes. In one respect, our guild member survived, but unfortunately we did not have the rescue we envisioned.

  2. GM: Please let us know about your guild's main theme. (Non-PvP, PvP-enthusiastic, Life skill-preferred or etc.)
  • DarkPhoenix: In fact, the goal is always PvE, because every person who comes to the guild is new Adventurer or doesn't know the game enough. Our main purpose in our guild is to increase everyone's knowledge in game, so they wouldn't have to ask questions like "how can i do that". We didn't have any activities in PvP because we wanted them to do PvP after they learned the game and they are getting close to that level now. We've done our best to protect them from toxic players who will make them feel bad. Because we wanted them to like the game first, so we do our best.

  2. GM: Is there any condition to join the guild?
  • DarkPhoenix: We have one condition at the moment. New members should be aware that they are playing a game, because when a game is taken too seriously, problems inevitably arise.

  2. GM: Please let us know if you have any contents that guild members enjoy with.
  • DarkPhoenix: As everyone knows, the desert is an event in itself. We were grinding in Pila Ku Prison with friends. At that time, a new member joined to the guild and we were giving him information on Discord. Anyway, we done grinding and there were 2k - 3k junk items in our inventories. You can imagine the weight and the only thing I trust is my loyal camel. While everybody went to Valencia, I set the auto-navigation and left my character to my friends for 5 minutes. I was looking for documents to give information to help our new guild member. When I returned to the game, I saw that all of my friends from guild had disappeared instead of looking after my character. So, I was alone with my dead camel near the Pila Ku and my character was trying to survive the desert diseases. I walked from Pila Ku to Valencia for 1 hour under the sun with all the loads on me. Nobody was coming to help because they were too busy laughing at me. After an hour I arrived to Valencia but they were out of breath because of laughing. Sure, they're all brothers. They don't mean anything bad. I had given in to my fate.

  2. GM: What are the benefits that guild members can get?
  • DarkPhoenix: Other than using guild skills, our guild officers opening the guild quests regularly and if a member needs help economically, we are providing support. Moreover, we inform them about anything they ask.

  • GM: Is there a goal that your guild wants to attain?
  • DarkPhoenix: Our goal is to appeal to larger audiences and make this game not only a game, but a fun place to connect with people.
