Hello, Adventurers!

Last weekend, we had a short interview with the guild - LeveLup; they were selected from the #GuildStories #Medium/SmallGuilds #Welcoming event!

First, take a look at the story they sent to us and then, read about the LeveLup guild in detail in this interview~

GRIM OCEAN

The ocean is where many things take place and all kept as secrets in its depths. This is our guild story of an encounter with the ocean, and how we escaped its depths. Now, we share this tale with everyone.

On Sundays, every guild member gathers to defeat the mysterious creature dwelling in the heart of the ocean. We drop anchor to defeat Vell and obtain its treasure. The sailors favored by the ocean plan the journey and the landlubbers who sailed for the first time try to be a captain. Velia was very active and was filled with the excitement of sailors. At this point, I wanted to get out of the confusing and over-exciting atmosphere. Port Epheria seemed to call me, so I changed the starting point from Velia to Port Epheria where there were calm and soft waves on the sea. Since Port Epheria was quiet and unimposing, it made you feel like a noble. Most of all, the noble sailors of Calpheon headed to this port and established a settlement on this rugged terrain. It had been two weeks since I built my Epheria Frigate and I hadn't landed on the land for two weeks. That's why I felt like a master sailor. As the guild leader, I informed the guild members that they needed to come to Port Epheria to start, so we could set out to defeat Vell. With the 3 guild members answering my call, we left Port Epheria and started our journey towards Vell’s Realm.

Halfway there, before we knew it, I soon realized we were in Margoria Sea for a long time. I didn't use a compass because I had found all the islands after the Great Expedition; I thought I knew the sea like the palm of my hand while bartering and completing quests. While sailing, we passed another Epheria Frigate. Its color was brown and my frigate was blue. One of the guild members said it was coated. I was so curious that I tried to find all the ship designs, the bow and everything. I tried to put on other ship equipment I had, but nothing matched. Finally, I realized that these equipment made my ship exceed its weight limit. At first, I thought of throwing away the trade items, but I couldn't throw them out until I would reach the port. I realized that the mistake I made would cost me a lot. My ship exceeded its weight limit over 4,000 Lt. and there was no turning back. I needed to take responsibility and my unexpectedly heavy-loaded ship slowed down so much and it was now way slower in the ocean. We couldn't open the sails because of the strong wind that was blowing from ahead. The ocean swallowed us, yet desperately made me continue. We could not carry on this decision for long, because we stopped moving completely. I stopped the ship and looked around for one last hope. Not even a single ship was on the horizon and that brown-colored frigate had already left our sights. The only way we came up was to use a Traveler's Map. So, my 3 guild crews and I used the Traveler’s Map.

But I couldn't believe my eyes because all of us had been teleported to Port Ratt. My guild members were in shock since they had never come this far. They went crazy when they looked at the map. I had to do something urgently, so I remote collected my ship. But there was another stroke of bad luck. My ship was in Oquilla's Eye, so now we even had lost the ship. Thus, the final way of escape was to wait for the free transport ship to dock at Port Ratt. After a long time, the ship finally arrived and began to move. It transported us from the port that had left us desperate. We were laughing and having fun with the joy of getting out on the ship and suddenly the sound disappeared. Tragedy had struck. My Internet was disconnected. When I re-entered the game, I was alone in the middle of the sea. I chatted that I was stuck in the middle of the sea and there is no real way to express my sadness. There was nothing more to do, I gave up my pride of mastery and typed a helpless message. This time I had a lucky break, a captain who made a very quick return saved me from where I was stuck. I didn't have time to think about telling what happened with the ship, I had to go to the market. When we approached the port, I thanked him. This lesson by the great ocean gave our guild a funny, memorable and action-packed memory.  :)

GM: What is your guild name? Please introduce us to what it means.

LeveLup: LeveLup. Actually, I like simplicity, so I came up with the name while thinking about how to make the guild look good. Generally, MMO gamers’ main goal is leveling up, so it inspired me.

  1.
  2. GM: When was the guild created and what made you create the guild?

LeveLup: I was first introduced to the game when Black Desert was released on Steam. The first thing that I did was to join a guild. This guild was very active and we participated in battles regularly, but I felt they lacked respect. They wanted the members to be active all the time, but their demands were too much for me. Therefore, I decided to leave the clan. After that, I took a break for a year, but I could not stay away from the game. I found an opportunity to start the game again and the first thing that I did was to create a respectful guild without strict rules.

  1.
  2. GM: What is the reason for participating in the event?

LeveLup: This event could change our bad days into positive ones. Would that be a coincidence? I believe that such things can happen.

  1.
  2. GM: Please tell us about the story that you sent to us.

LeveLup: The story I sent had happened two or three days before this event began. We could not forget about the ordeal we underwent. When I saw this event, I thought this was a chance in every shape and form. I was very happy that the most frustrating 2 hours we spent in the game turned into memorable 2 hours.

  1.
  2. GM: What is your guild's main theme? (Non-PvP, PvP-enthusiastic, Life skill-preferred or etc.)

LeveLup: I dare to say that our guild is a PvE guild. Our goal is to let the guild members take advantage of the guild's skills and to bring new players together.

  1.
  2. GM: Is there any condition to join the guild?

LeveLup: We have not reached the target number of the guild members that we expected yet, so there are no conditions to join the guild right now, but I believe this will be more important in the future. For now, we are focusing on new Adventurers. We are doing our best to take care of them.

  1.
  2. GM: If there is a fun story with your guild members, please share it with us.

LeveLup: When we were with new Adventurers, we had some moments. I was with two new Adventurers in the desert yesterday. They got lost and died while I was disconnected due to an internet issue.

  1.
  2. GM: What are the benefits that guild members can get?

LeveLup: They can take advantage of the guild skills. We carry out guild quests together whenever the guild members want to do them. And I try to make everything fair. Most of all, we play for fun, not for benefits or profits. Equality is what matters to us. To be honest, we could not establish a friendly environment as we wanted because our guild is not very crowded, but we will be in the future.

  1.
  2. GM: What difficulties do the guild members have?

LeveLup: Mostly, they need help. They ask questions like “How can I reach level 60?” or “How can I get this thing?” Most beginners think Black Desert is a bit complicated, so we try to help them.

  1.
  2. GM: Is there a goal that your guild wants to achieve?

LeveLup: We want to grow and we want to conquer like the famous guilds. Another goal is to build a guild ship. Like the others, we want to be well-known. We are doing our best.
