We’d like to announce the updates made to the Black Desert as of 2017 December 07th (Thursday).

During today’s maintenance, we made such updates as “Mediah, Tamer and 41 cases (Patch volume approx. 840 MB)”

【Character】

● Fixed so that the character will wear the basic weapon in the Character Select screen if it wears other items than the main weapon that matches to the character.

● Removed the act of stumbling after drinking Cold Draft Beer or Dark Beer.

● Fixed the issue where the skill effect of Mark of the Shadow did not disappear while using other skills.

● Fixed the graphical glitch on Wizard’s Inquirer's Destiny Hat that happened with certain customization.

【Monster】

● Fixed the issue where the Catfishman Fisher doesn’t drop the item that has 'Combat/Skill EXP + 3%'

● Fixed so that Mutant Ogre drops Shattered Necklace instead of Shattered Ring.

● Changed the Shattered Ring to Shattered Necklace in the list of Mansha Forest drop items.

【NPC】

● Fixed the issue where the name of the kid NPC in the Square before Calpheon City Storage is displayed as soldier.

● The horse NPC that had been automatically created at the Stable disappeared, and it was replaced with a normal NPC.

● Fixed the issue where the number of gulls appeared in the sky over the Velia was unusually large.

【Quest, Knowledge】

● Fixed the issue where you can receive both quests: Black spirit’s quarterly quest “Jewelry Thieves” and ‘To Rob, or Not to Rob?

【Pet】

● Improved so that pets can loot while following the character.

● Improved the function where pets can prioritize the item looting during the act of following the owner.

● Fixed so that the pets can teleport near the character if the height difference between the pets and character is large.

【UI】

● Fixed the discrepancy between DB log and UI display when a character was killed by a summoned monster.

● Fixed the flickering cursor in the Customizing screen.

● Fixed the issue where the durability reduction value did not get updated when Enhancement succeeded.

● The tooltip for Drying in Processing window now says it is unavailable in the ocean.

● Information regarding collecting ships has been added to the Wharf and Guild Wharf screen to clarify the rules around collecting ships that carry certain items.

● Buttons to purchase using a Marketplace Maid and to find Marketplace NPCs have been added to the Marketplace window that is accessible through the ESC menu.

● The icons at the bottom of the Marketplace registration window have been rearranged.

● Fixed the issue where a portrait is taken when you press the space bar after opening the beauty album in the customization window.

● Changed so that you cannot take a portrait with a shortcut key (space bar) if beauty album and File Explorer window are open when you take a portrait.

● Fixed the issue where extra space for guide video was being seen in the description of passive skills.

● Information regarding preceding skills has been added to the skill list in Horse Information window.

- You can view the icons for preceding skills for such skills as S: Back Leg Kick , S: Front Leg Kick , S: Instant Acceleration, S: Sideways Movement, Double Jump, S: Charge, Wings of Freedom, Earth of Blessing.

● Improved so that you can turn on and off the Skill Cooldown Time Area that is displayed automatically in the Edit UI menu.

● Now you can command all your (taken out) pets at once. When commanding a pet, left-click will give command to the ı

selected pet, and right-click will give command to all pets taken out.

● Added a tooltip icon for the skills that requires preceding skills on the list of horse skills in the mount information window. You can check what preceding skills need to be learned by hovering mouse over the icon.

● Fixed the issue where the effects applied are shown only for those of current level in the description window of the item to which you gave energy.

● Special slots for displaying skill cooldown time have been added.

- You can set up the slots by clicking the button for setting Skill cooldown time from the Skill window. You can register up to 10 skills to slots. You can turn the slots on and off or move the slots in the Edit UI menu.

● The texture of the Reset Skills button has been changed..

● Fixed the issue that froze the game momentarily while using Find NPC function.

● Added English for the Damage Effect (Critical, Down Attack etc)

● Fixed the issue where the Force PvP icon did not show next to the character during PvP mode.

● Fixed the graphical glitch at the back of Witch’s hair (Hair customization #1)

【System】

● Mounts such as horse and camel will not be shown around the fences near stable keeper NPCs.

【Other】

● Some areas along the Velia coast have been renamed to Velia Beach.

● Fixed the issue where riding a mount at certain places wasn’t allowed.

● Corrected the item description of value package on the website to fit the right item description.

1. Combat/Skill/Life/Mount EXP +10% -> +30%

2. 'Unlimited Use of Merv's Palette' has now been removed from the item description.

● Valencia 1 server is added.
