Greetings Adventurer!

After the scheduled maintenance on September 4th, we implemented a renewal of the Black Desert official website and a variety of security services, such as the PC registration service and strengthened password format.  

Thus, the [Black Desert Account Security Campaign] event was started. Keep your account safe by participating in the event and you’ll receive rewards. You have until October 2nd, so don’t miss you!

Event 1: Change the Password to Enhance my Account Security

[Eligible]

  • - Adventurers that signed up before the website renewal on September 4. 

 

[How to Participate]

  1. - Login to the official Black Desert website and be redirected to the Change Password window. 
  2. - Change your password as instructed.
  3. - Play the game after changing your password to complete your event participation. 

 

※ If you are unable to complete the email verification, please fill out the application below. We will provide assistance in the order received after checking your account information with the information provided. 

 

▶ Go to the Identity Verification Application

[Strengthened Password Format]

- Must include alphabetical letters (upper and lower case), numbers, special characters (10-16 Character Limit)

- Uppercase and lowercase will be differentiated and only the following special characters can be used: !@#$%^&*()+=~_-.

※ If you’ve already changed your password the maintenance on September 4 (Wed), then you do not need to change your password again to receive the rewards.

Nevertheless, we recommend regularly changing your password for account security and to prevent your account from being compromised. 

 


Event 2. Sign-up for OTP to keep my Account Safe

[Eligible]

  • - All Adventurers 

 

[How to Participate]

  1. - Login to Black Desert official website and go to [My Page]
  2. - Go to [Support -> Security Center -> OTP Setting]  
  3. - Follow the instructions to setup OTP. 
  4. - Set up OTP and use the service to login during the event to complete your event participation!

※ If you’ve previously set up OTP, then you do not need to newly set up an OTP and will receive rewards as long as you use OTP to login before the event ends. 

 


Event 3: Register your PC to keep your Black Desert account safe! 

[Eligible]

  • - All Adventurers 

 

[How to Participate]

  1. - Login to the official Black Desert website. 
  2. - Go to [Support -> Security Center -> PC Registration Setting]
  3. - Follow the instructions to set up your PC Registration. 
  4. - Finish the PC Registration Setting and use the service to login during the event t o complete your event participation!

Event Notices

- Event rewards will be sent to your in-game mailbox after the maintenance on October 8, 2019. 

- OTP and PC Registration must be still set up at the end of their respective event. Canceling the services within the event period will disqualify you from Event 2 and/or 3. 

- Pearl Abyss is not liable for any issues caused by negligence of account management. 

- Pearl Abyss is not liable if you cannot participate in the event due to being unable to sign-up for OTP and/or register your PC.   

- You may be disqualified or your reward may be withdrawn if you use unapproved methods to try to gain an unfair advantage in the event.

- Event rewards can only be received once per family and cannot be sent multiple times.

- There may be restrictions on trading/selling event items, and they may have usage expiration dates.

- Each event item may have different binding settings, and these items cannot be transferred or restored due to this reason.
