  • Gathering Mastery system was added.

- Gathering Mastery is a different scale from Gathering level that shows the character’s proficiency in gathering.

- Higher Gathering Mastery increases the drop rate and the number of items dropped while gathering. The effects are as follows.

※ Regular items refers to the items like timber, ores, fluids, etc that can be gathering according to the specification of the tools.

※ Rare items refers to items like Black Crystal Shards, Caphras Stones, etc that are used as materials for enhancing.

※ Special items refers to all items that are not included in regular items and rare items that can be obtained through a low probability while gathering. 

e.g.) Intact Insect Amber, Old Tree Bark, Laila's Petal, Deep Blue Hoof Root, etc.

 

  • As the Gathering Mastery of all the characters’ increases according to gathering levels, their probability to not consume energy while gathering decreases by 0 - 30% depending on their own gathering level.

 - Gathering Mastery is in effect for all adventurers that invested their time and energy to level up Gathering. This means everyone will be able to get the added items and receive the benefits of Gathering Mastery. However, the effects of +60% chance of not consuming energy while gathering at Gathering level Master 1 was deemed to be too profitable so this effect was limited to +30%.

 - This results in less time spent gathering but increased the amount of materials gathered. This in turn increases the overall profitability of gathering.

 

  • Sailing Mastery system was added.

- Sailing Mastery is a different scale from Sailing level that shows the character’s proficiency in sailing.

- The increase to the ship’s stats are only applied when an adventurer wearing Sailing Mastery items are on board an Epheria Sailboat/Frigate they personally own.

- Prized Catch (Orange) fish was added.

- Higher Fishing Mastery increases the probability of fishing Prized Catches or Ancient Relic Crystal Shards.

- Prized Catch fish can only be caught in particular fishing spots in fresh and salt waters. These fish can be sold to Trade Managers in any of the regions at a high price. (Imperial Fishing Delivery is not available)

- Required Materials: Standardized Timber Square x15, Ash Plywood x5, Steel Ingot x5 Monk's Branch x5, Trace of Origin x20, Plywood Hardener x5

- Crio's Fishing Chair has 100 durability total and loses 1 durability while fishing.

- Fishing Chairs can be equipped on a character and gives Fishing Mastery +100 when equipped.

- Velia Fish Vendor Crio will now exchange Fish Bones and Tattered Boots for Crio's Fishing Chairs.

 

  • Hunting Mastery system was added.

- Hunting Mastery is a different scale from Hunting level that shows the character’s proficiency in hunting.

- Higher Hunting Mastery increases the number of items that drops when butchering a monster when it was killed by hunting and the probability of getting new materials that can be used to make new furniture, stuffed animals, or trade items. This gives hunting more ways to earn additional profit.

- The stuffed animal items that existed before can be used to craft better stuffed animal items using materials to make items that have effects that can match Boss Furnitures.

- Materials obtained with Hunting Mastery can be used to craft trade item that can be sold at high prices. These trade items are special as they can stack in a single slot and do not expire.

 

  • Sniping was added along with the Hunting Mastery system.

- Sniping requires the new item “Sniper Rifle”, a different type of equipment from the pre-existing matchlock. This is a new system that allows you to attack monsters from afar. 

  • A new monster called Sensitive Giant Elk was added and can be found on Fleme Hills in Balenos. It can be hunted with the new Sniper Rifle.

- Sensitive Giant Elk runs away if an adventurer gets too close. It can only be hunted from afar while hidden.

- More monsters that can only be hunted with Sniper Rifles will be added in the future.

- Adventurers will play minigames while aiming and loading the sniper rifle, which is another factor that goes into the items that can be obtained other than the character’s Hunting Mastery.

 

  • [Hunting] Practice Sniper Rifle and [Hunting] Sniper Rifle were added. 

- Sniper Rifles can be used like the pre-existing hunting matchlocks. You must be sitting then right-click to enter sniper mode.

- [Hunting] Practice Sniper Rifle cannot be enhanced. [Hunting] Sniper Rifle require Black Stone (Weapon) to enhance.

- [Hunting] Sniper Rifle can be crafted through Manufacturing.

  • The following new quest has been added. 

- Quest name: A Struggle with the Seagull 

- This quest can be completed once per Family. 

- There is no prerequisite to receive this quest. Talk to Chuck Laurie at Balenos Mountains to accept this quest. 

> You will receive [Hunting] Practice Sniper Rifle upon completing the quest.

- You can get up to 46% more silver depending on the character’s Alchemy level or Alchemy Mastery when delivering imperial alchemy boxes. Additionally, the prices of alchemy boxes were increased so that adventurers with lower Alchemy levels or Alchemy Mastery can earn more through Imperial Delivery.

  • The following Spirit Stones were added.

- The new Spirit Stones have 20 durability, which is on the lower side. They cannot be fueled, polished, or have growth attempts, but they have the same effects as previous Spirit Stones at a lower price.  You can make them to use or to sell for profit on the market. 

- You can make “Alchemy Stone Shard” by Grinding the new Spirit Stones.

- Alchemy Stone Shard is a material that is used to make Vell's Heart or Black Stone (Armor).

- The new Spirit Stones can be made using Alchemy Tools that are setup in your residence.

- The special material “Reagent of Harmonious Spirits” is required to make the new Spirit Stones.

- “Reagent of Harmonious Spirits” can be obtained by characters with Alchemy Lv. Master 10 or higher OR Alchemy Mastery 800 or higher by competing repeatable quests from Alustin in Velia.

- Higher Alchemy level or Alchemy Mastery increases the probability of obtaining higher-grade Spirit Stones

- The character must have Alchemy Mastery 500 or higher to make the new Spirit Stones by performing alchemy.

  • Training Mastery system was added and Training contents were improved.

- The probability of obtaining a great horse through mount training or breeding increases with higher Training level or Training Mastery.

- Training efficiency can be increased to a certain amount even if the character has low Training level if they wear equipment that increases Training Mastery. 

- Training efficiency will increase even more if the character has high Training level and wear equipment that increases Training Mastery. 

- The following effects get be gained by raising Training level or Training Mastery. These effects will help grow mounts faster and more efficiently than before. Adventurers can expect to higher profits through the Horse Market and Imperial Delivery.

> Increases the probability of capturing a wild horse. 

> Increases the Mount EXP gain.

> Increases the probability of obtaining a higher tier horse through breeding and exchanging. (The effect from Mastery is applied when the breading/exchanging is initiated, not when receiving the foal.)

> Increases the probability of learning a new skill when the mount levels up. 

>  Increases the probability of capturing a wild mount and others. 

- The description for Training was changed in My Information (P) > Life tab with the addition of Training Mastery. 

 

  • The new type of equipment “Riding Crop” was added.

- Riding Crops have effects that increases Training Mastery, horse auto-run speed, and maximum running speed.

- Cooking Mastery increases a certain amount according to the Cooking level. Equipping Cooking Mastery equipment adds additional Cooking Mastery on top of this.

- Cooking efficiency can be increased to a certain amount even if the character has low Cooking level if they wear equipment that increases Cooking Mastery.

- Cooking efficiency will increase even more if the character has high Cooking level and wear equipment that increases Cooking Mastery. 

- The probability of Mass Cooking for characters with high Cooking level or Cooking Mastery was added.

※ Mass Cooking?

- When cooking 10 times or more at a Cooking Utensil, there is a set probability of performing Mass Cooking depending on the amount of Cooking Mastery. It allows the character to cook with 10 times the amount of materials in a single attempt to get 10 times the products.

- When cooking less than 10 times, Mass Cooking cannot happen.

- When Mass Cooking, the Cooking Utensil loses the same durability as cooking once.

- The following additional effects will be applied with increased Cooking Mastery.

- Imperial Cuisine boxes can be sold through Imperial Delivery at higher prices.

- Increases the probability of making dishes with better effects.

- Increases the probability of making max number of standard and higher-grade dishes at a time.

▶ e.g. Previously when cooking, 1 cooking attempt allowed the character to make 1-4 of the dish at random at a time depending on their Cooking level. Now, Cooking Mastery increases the probability of making 4 of that dish. This effect will overall increase the number of products made when using the same amount of materials.

The effects of increasing Cooking Mastery are as follows.

- The probability of Mass Cooking can increase up to 100%.

- The probability of making the max number of standard dishes can increase up to 61.1%.

- The probability of making higher-grade dishes can increase up to 19.3%.

- The probability of making the max number of higher-grade dishes can increase up to 61.1%.

- The amount of additional silver from selling Imperial Cuisine boxes through Imperial Trade can go up to 144.9%.

 

  • New Extra Cooking Quests that can be accepted at random depending on Cooking level were added.

- Extra Cooking Quest objectives are to cook special dishes and to deliver them to an NPC. Rewards for completing these quests are a large amount of cooking ingredients.

- The random probability of accepting Extra Cooking Quests while cooking the dishes listed below starts at these Cooking levels.

- Life Mastery items can be enhanced up to PEN (V). They give more Life Mastery as their enhancement levels increase.

- Life Mastery Clothes can be enhanced up to +5 without failing.

- Green Life Mastery equipment can be purchased from NPC vendors. You can use Black Crystal Gem or Concentrated Magical Black Gem to have an easier time enhancing them. 

- Enhancement attempts would not be affected by previous stacks and Valks’ Cry when using Black Crystals Gems for the attempt.

- Stacks will not increase even if the enhancement attempt fails when using Black Crystals Gems.

- Stacks will not reset even if the enhancement attempt succeeds when using Black Crystals Gems.

- Enhancing with Black Crystals Gems give attempts a higher chance of succeeding.

- There is a low probability of obtaining Black Crystals Gems by butchering hunted monsters.
