This is The MMORPG Black Desert.

We discovered an Adventurer has reached level 64 in the Black Desert Turkey & MENA server!

Today, we invited this Adventurer -  Phðëñîx - for an interview with us. 

Read on to how they felt while exploring Black Desert and their expectations for Black Desert. 

GM_Egrin : Hello Phðëñîx, could you briefly introduce yourself?

Phðëñîx: Hello, GM_Egrin. I am Phðëñîx and I play a level 64 Wizard. My first introduction to Black Desert was by a friend’s recommendation. Ever since I could remember, I’ve loved playing MMORPGs.

GM_Egrin: How long have you been exploring the Black Desert world? 

Phðëñîx: It’s been almost 8 months.

GM_Egrin: Was Phðëñîx your first character in Black Desert?

Phðëñîx: No, it's my second character. My first character was the Witch class, but I could not find what I anticipated. I found that Witch class was weak in 1 vs 1 battles, so I decided to play as a Wizard character instead. Wizard just felt right for me and I realized that Wizard was the very class that I was looking for. Grab > Block :P

GM_Egrin: Are there any particular reasons for your choices in classes and leveling them this high?

Phðëñîx: In most MMORPGs that I enjoyed, I used to play magician-like classes because I love to cast spells! Since I am interested in this kind of class, I could focus on leveling up.

GM_Egrin: Due to leveling, you must have spent much of your time on defeating monsters Nevertheless, do you enjoy any other of the  numerous contents in Black Desert?

Phðëñîx: Of course, I spent most of my time on leveling up, but I also enjoyed Guild Wars and Conquest War. Moreover, I sometimes enjoy PvP caused by players who challenge me when I’m leveling. some players who invaded where I was hunting.

GM_Egrin: I remember that the first player who reached level 63 was a Wizard as well. In your perspective, what are the merits and drawbacks of Wizard class in PvE or PvP? 

Phðëñîx: I think Wizard is one of the more comfortable classes to play for  PvE because you can quickly move from spot to spot. On the other hand, PvP is not so comfortable. Because Wizard is not an easy character and even the slightest error will cause your defeat. Therefore, you need to practice a lot to win in PvP.

GM_Egrin: Did you know you were the first one to reach level 64? And how did you feel about this achievement? 

Phðëñîx: Yes, I knew that because I had set this difficult goal. This achievement made me unspeakably excited. I wanted to accomplish something that others haven’t done yet. To be honest, I hadn’t expected this, but now I am very happy.

GM_Egrin: What motivated you to keep leveling? Were there any difficulties you encountered?

Phðëñîx: I was motivated by 2 families. You may be curious by me saying “family”, but the two guilds Division and Bushido are like family to me. They unconditionally helped me and have always had my back. I really appreciate these two “families” more than words can express. I didn’t really experience difficulties although there were some things that amused me.It was a really competitive environment, so there were always some Adventurers that tried to interfere on my path to level 64. However, I was resolute in reaching level 64.

GM_Egrin: Can you give us information regarding your equipment?

Phðëñîx: I have all kinds of Pearl outfits for Wizard class and my character wears all IV grade items except necklace and earrings. Thanks to BDO, I have a replacement for my necklace at level 64. :P

GM_Egrin: What is your next goal?

Phðëñîx: Level 65 (:

GM_Egrin: Do you have any expectations or suggestions for Black Desert?  

Phðëñîx: Lag and ping issues need to be stabilized for better PvP experience in PvP, GvG and Wars. And the second is Pearl prices, I’m expecting nice discounts in the Pearl Shop :P

GM_Egrin: Thank you for taking your precious time to have this interview with us. By the way, what are your plans after this?

Phðëñîx: Let the hunt begin!
