This is the MMORPG, Black Desert.
First of all, we’d like to send our best regards for your passion and support towards Black Desert Turkey & MENA. Before we proceed today’s Temporary Maintenance, we’d like to apologize for the issues you have been through for the past few weeks.
Ever since we introduced the new Central Market to Turkey & MENA server on last December 26th, we believe that there’s been more inconvenience we had caused to all Adventurers rather than providing fun and exciting game experience with our new contents. There’s been numerous issues in the system and follow-up fixes had to be made including maintenance on Central Market and retrieval of excessive amount of in-game silvers created due to the untended way of use.
Followed by the Central Market, there were multiple threads posted by unauthorized personal claiming himself as GM in our official community, confusing many Adventurers with wrong information. Furthermore, we had to retrieve in-game silvers and items again due to the duplicated event rewards given to event participants.
We fully understand the seriousness of our mistake and we are always concerned how such an issue can impact all the Adventurers. In order to prevent these problematic situation, we did go through multiple reviews and check-ups, yet the issues occurred for the past 1 month were still clearly due to our fault.
We are very well aware of your expectation from us in Turkey & MENA region where we are providing game service on our own. Our confident stance when we first launched our game in Turkey & MENA region promising a different level of game experience now makes us deeply regretful today.
We’d like to sincerely apologize to all Adventurers who have shown great love and passion, and we deeply regret our lack of details and our unsatisfactory measures upon the issues occurred during the past few weeks.
To be honest the temporary maintenance scheduled today isn’t for resolving a specific problem. We understand how much risk we should take on when performing a temporary maintenance for a live serviced game. And this is why we conducted temporary maintenance only when it is considered as necessary due to critical issues so far. Despite our policy however, we decided to have the maintenance today and this is because we thought this was necessary to give you a sincere apology.
We are aware of the fact that compensation and a letter of apology alone won’t fill the sense of emptiness and inconvenience our Adventurers had to suffer. However, please let us show our will with a promise to upgrade service quality.
After today’s temporary maintenance, special events we have prepared exclusive for Turkey & MENA region will be updated for the entire period of February.
