- Archer is a nimble ranged character that attacks and dodges enemies.



- Archer is unlike any other class and can wield both the main weapon Crossbow and awakening weapon Greatbow right after creation. However, Archer can ascend the awakened skills for the Greatbow at level 56, after the skill ascension update.



- Archer can be extremely versatile in battle by using both his Crossbow and Greatbow.



- Reward items for pre-register of Archer class are sent to the first Archer's inventory you created.



- Pre-register reward item, Ultimate Saiphir Greatbow, is restricted from use until the character reaches level 56.

- Wooden Greatbow, Basteer Greatbow, Ultimate Basteer Greatbow and Cadhoit Greatbow can be used from character level 1. However, other Greatbows except the weapons above can be used from character level 56.

The Goblins are now placed farther away from Grusha, the Node Manager of Forest of Plunder.

- The goblins that inhabited the area nearby Grusha moved farther away from Grusha.





Reduced and consolidated the type of items which can be obtained by defeating monsters at Balenos, Serendia, and Calpheon.










The loot dropped by monsters in Black Desert were relevant to the monster that was defeated. You could obtain Sunrise Herb by defeating Tree Spirits or Rough Rubies by defeating Dwarf Miners. This allowed adventurers to know unique traits about each monster. However, this created an inconvenience to adventurers that were just starting out by filling their inventories.



Therefore, we have reduced and consolidated loots dropped by monsters at Balenos, Serendia, and Calpheon.

【Quest, Knowledge】

● he main quests have been revamped.







    • The starting location for newly created characters has been changed from Olvia to Western Guard Camp.




    • You can choose and play through 1 among 3 dividing quest lines at Serendia.




    • The quest you choose at Serendia will eventually join into one quest at Calpheon.




    • Each dividing quest line has its own story, and each has its own path of Monster Zones to go through.




    • ① The first path starts with the quest ‘[Crossroad] The Lamenting Head of the League of Merchants’. This path follows the same story as the pervious main quests.  It follows Jordine and his ambitions to take revenge against Calpheon.




    • ② The second path begins with the quest ‘[Crossroad] Silence, We’re Done Here!’. This path will lead you to NPCs around cities and towns that will ask you to help them with their big and small problems. Follow this path past the northern sections of Calpheon to arrive in Keplan. This is where you will start the quests covering the story about Oze, the daughter of the Lord of Keplan that has gone missing.




    • ③ The third path starts with the quest ‘[Crossroad] Each of Their Reasons’. The story here will reveal the power struggles between aristocrats. You’ll be watching the story unfold by the side of the Xian Merchant Guild as they make their move into Calpheon.




    • Characters that are already going through the previous main quest lines cannot go through these new quests. However, they can continue to go through their existing main quest lines.




    • As long as existing characters have not gone through or completed any of the existing main quests, they can play through the new quests through the Black Spirit.

● Improved the alignment of the Contribution Points displayed at the World Map (M).



The message which appears when Health levels up has been changed to suit each character’s characteristics.



An effect will now be added to the Garden icon when there are crops available for harvest in the Garden.

Fixed the issue where the equipment window would still be visible when closing the Inventory window while at the Black Spirit’s Item Reform window.



● Fixed the issue where the Quick Slot settings window would be covered by other windows.



● Recommended skills have been added to the learnable skills of Archer.

● The Graphics settings will now be in Remastered mode by default when logging into the game for the first time.

● Fixed the issue where the text for the check button would bleed out of the area when registering a male horse at the Breeding Market. (Only for certain languages)



The order in which the tabs appear from the Attendance Reward window has been improved. (The tab which has not yet been checked will appear first).



● You can use the Tag Characters button when you have characters higher than Lv. 7.



An EXP boost image will appear when you log in with the Archer or with a character tagged to the Archer.

● Fixed the issue where the location and opacity of certain UI’s would be different when interacting with Blacksmiths and Trade NPC’s.

● Fixed the issue where the message which appears when an item has been listed at the Marketplace was awkwardly placed.

● Family Name Settings window and Default Game Settings window have been revamped.

The alignments in the following windows were improved.



- Guild Alliance, Status of Alliance Members, Create Guild Alliance

● Fixed the issue where the rankings in the Fish Guide were different.



● Fixed the bars displayed when viewing mounts in the stables, wharfs, guild stables, and guild wharfs.





Fixed the issue where aiming against monsters would occasionally not work properly.
