Hello, Adventurers!



This is The MMORPG, Black Desert!





This week’s update brought the Heart of the Sea, Vell! Vell will appear every Sunday at 18:00 (GMT+3).



The GMs are planning to help brave Adventurers by providing ships to go to the far reaches of the seas. Hop on board with the GMs and enter Vell’s Realm to force Vell back into the depths!

▶ Departure Location





  • 11/11/2018 (Sun) at 17:00 (GMT+3)




  • The wharf in Velia (Server: Balenos-2 and Serendia-2)


 










▶ How to Participate



        Don’t have a ship, frigate, or galley to ride out on?





  • Wait by the location stated above on the server Balenos-2 or Serendia-2 before the event starts.




  • When the event starts, follow the GMs instructions to get on board the ship and to head out to Vell’s Realm.




  • Attack Vell and the Lopsters when they appear using matchlocks.





       (There won’t be cannons available on the GM ships used in this event.)





  • Loot Vell's Fragment after defeating Vell to get your items.




  • If you’re in a party that attacked Vell, you will also be able to loot from the fragment.







        Have your own ride?





  • You won’t need a compass to find your way there! Just follow the GM’s ship when the event starts to reach Vell’s Realm. However, we cannot guarantee your safety once Vell appears…


 










▶ Event Rewards





  • All Adventurers that looted Vell during the event:





    • [Event] Lauren Family Gift Box x3




    • Item Collection Increase Scroll (60 min) x1




    • Golden Backpack x1









  • Golden Bells will ring on all servers after the event ends at 19:00 (GMT+3).


 










▶ Things you should know before facing Vell!





  • Vell only takes damage from cannons and matchlocks. So, Adventurers must bring plenty of matchlocks, ammo, and cannon balls!




  • Vell destroys ships firing at itself with ‘Lopsters’ that are fragments of itself. ‘Lopsters’ can be defeated by matchlocks.

▶ Please Note!





  • Vell is the largest and most powerful world boss in all of Black Desert. Your characters may die during the event.




  • However, there are no penalties given for dying to Vell.




  • Please use the ‘Old Moon Flare’ when your ship is destroyed. This will allow you to board the Old Moon Rescue Boat and reach Lema Island.




  • GMs will try their best to keep their ship afloat. However, they cannot guarantee that it will last till the very end of the fight.




  • There is a capacity limit on the GM ship. It may not be possible for all Adventurers to participate in this event if they do not have their own ships.

- Event rewards will be sent after maintenance on 11/14 (Wed).



- Please be careful during this event as you may be attacked by monsters and die.



- It may be difficult to loot from Vell’s Fragment if there are too many ships present.



- If you are found to have disrupted the event or caused inconvenience to other players then you may be restricted from the game.



- Pearl Abyss is not liable for any damages caused by the negligence of players and will not undertake any remedial measures to correct damages. Players may be restricted from participating in the event in such cases.



- You may experience lag or difficulty playing the game due to a large number of Adventurers participating in the event. If you would like to avoid this situation, please try playing on a different server.



- Pearl Abyss reserves the right to change or cancel the event depending on circumstances.
