The first ambitious player who reached to level 62 is Kardes.

Someone else almost beat him to it, but he did it!

Here is the interview along with his journey in the vast Black Desert World. We asked him about his views, opinions, and experiences on Black Desert.

1. - Hello Adventurer! Can you introduce yourself?

Im 27 years old engineer who just graduated. I discovered BDO with one of my friend’s persistence and entered the BDO world.

At first i was just a lifeskill player because of school work I had to go thorugh. And i have to say that BDO has the best and the most complex lifeskill system that i saw in an MMO game. After a busy winter i had a great PvE experience and it was fun. I never thought it would be this enjoyable while doing PvE.

Even though how much you want to just play PvE, you have to PvP too. Because of GvGs, vs for slots and bad karma, you can’t get away from PvP. But i can say that i started real PvP after I reached Lv 62.

2.How do you feel about achieving as the first to finish the quests in TR Mena?

I guess i can say that this is the most enjoyable part of being Lv 62. It was worth that to be the first one to reach Lv. 62.

Being congratulated by lots of people and being the first and only, really makes you

feel special.

3.What was your motivation?

 

I can say that it was to being the first one to reach Lv 62 before anyone. Especially when i was so far behind.

4.Were you doing the level up alone? Or did you have a party with friends? Do you have a know-how to having reached the goal faster than others?

I was on my own. As it was ideal to be alone for Valencia spots, I preferred this. And with the help of Marni stones I reached my goal really fast.

5. Which parts were the most difficult when you look the past? Why was it difficult, and how were you able to overcome this?

Actually the hardest part was when i had -1 million karma. Because the fields were really crowded in certain hours there were times that I went to jail 15-18 times in a day and because of that, I was losing lots of time. Instead of opening PK and going places with my friends Refresh and Glaz, I preferred guild war and motivated myself to become Lv 62 and reached my goal.

6.Would there be an interesting episode you ran into while leveling up?

Actually the only interesting part was that lots of people thought it was impossible. Actually it was quite easy and i was expecting it to be harder.

7.What was the biggest surprise?

The biggest surprise i had was when i was Lv. 61 and %14. There were not any Marni Stones yet and i thought it would be nice if there were. And after that day with patch, I woke up to find that Marni stones had been updated. Actually this was a big motivation.

8.What are the obstacles and missing things you might mention?

I can say that I really felt the lack of server.

Especially between war hours it was one of the demotivating factors.

9.Can you compare the characters and balances on your point of view?

I think characters are balanced. I don’t think there is any need to change any character. But even any changes are made I am aware that it is done very carefully and if there is any mistake they try to fix it quickly.

I think Ninja character is how it should be. It is balanced with its great damage and low armor. And lots of people think Ninja is the worst character for PvE. Actually within the characters

that I had a chance to play and thinking about the condition of game, I think

Ninja would be in the top 3. I am quite satisfied with my Ninja character for PvE and PvP and I don’t intent to change.

10.What is your suggestions for new and less experienced adventurers of BDO?

My first suggestion is to choose proper classes that is suitable for them and suitable for their playing style. Don’t fall for other people’s thoughts. Every character has their good and bad sides but none of these characters are bad. And I suggest everyone to discover BDO world for their first 1 - 1.5 week and complete side quests and follow the story. And after that I suggest everyone to play as however they want and not to play as others want. Don’t believe any suggestion without trying by yourself. GMs are already sharing guaranteed methods on forum. Apart from that I recommend everyone to enjoy the moment and be patient until that time comes.

11.Finally, would there be something you'd want from Black Desert? (to improve, to implement)

Actually in some situations while using Shift+F5, we need to see party members. And between war hours PvE is really hard and I do believe there should be a solution for that. And for last, because of MENA BDO doesn’t have Arsha server and positive karma value is stuck on 300.000, open world PvP is quite limited. Except these I don’t think there is anything to effect to enjoy playing BDO.

I wish all players and friends planing to have a enjoyable time in BDO.
