Voltarion, a majestic being who races across the land at the speed of light,
is unmatched and only keeps company with those it deems strong.
To earn the right to acquire Voltarion, one must accomplish feats in both PvP and PvE
Nearly two months after its release, we had the chance to interview ŞarkılarlaYaşa, the first adventurer to obtain Voltarion on the Turkey & MENA server!

Let's get this interview started! First, can you briefly introduce yourself?
Hello! My in-game adventurer name is ŞarkılarlaYaşa. I’ve been playing Black Desert for four years, and I’ve been a Lahn main since the very beginning.
It's very nice to meet you! You’re the first adventurer on our server to obtain Voltarion—congratulations! Can you share your feelings with us?
First of all, thanks! I was in a fun competition with my guildmates, and we kept asking each other how many Trace of Thunderbolts we had collected. Honestly, I didn’t expect to be the first to finish, so it was a huge surprise for me.
What really helped me get ahead was participating in the Solare event. With the 10 Trace of Thunderbolts I got from there, I managed to beat my guildmates by just 1 or 2 traces. The day after I awakened my horse, three more guildmates also got Voltarion. It was a really competitive and exciting competition!
Such an exciting competition 😎! It must feel awesome to be the first to get it! So, how did it feel the first time you hopped on Voltarion?

When I first hopped on Voltarion, I was blown away by how awesome it looked. As soon as my name showed up on the server, people started asking where I was so they could take pics. The feedback was all super positive. I spent the whole day leveling it up to hit 30 and unlock its full abilities. When I saw that it was faster than the other 3 horses, I knew all the grind was worth it.

Voltarion really looks amazing, and it's great to hear that other adventurers are just as excited! 🙂 So, what would you say was the hardest part about obtaining Voltarion?
The hardest part about obtaining Voltarion was definitely the consistency. I had to make sure I didn’t miss any events where I could collect Trace of Thunderbolts. Every week, killing Sangoon level 10, participating in all my guild’s war activities, and taking part in the Solare Arena were the toughest parts of the grind.
Full focus! 😎 Next question: Was there any specific content you focused on the most to obtain Voltarion?
There’s almost only one way to get Voltarion, and that’s by participating in the wars with your guild. Especially when the War of the Roses was up, I could get almost 40 Trace of Thunderbolts a week. But the content I specifically focused on was tagging different classes and killing Sangoon level 10 five times.
Since you mentioned your friends earlier, you also said it was a tough competition. What were the reactions from the people around you (guildmates or friends)?
My guildmates had really positive reactions because it was awesome news for all of us that a member from the Conqueror guild was the first to awaken Voltarion. After I got my Voltarion, I got tons of messages from my close friends saying congratulations, which made me really happy.
A fair competition. 😊 We’re halfway through the questions, and as we move towards the end, let’s dive into the story. There’s a tale that Voltarion only accepts those strong enough. Do you have any tips you can share with us to succeed in the relevant PvP content and reach that level of power/strength?
I have plenty of tips to offer, but first and foremost, it’s all about class mastery. You need to find the class that suits you from the variety Black Desert offers and then stay actively involved in PvP content to keep improving with that class.
Do you have any advice for adventurers who have the same goal and want to obtain Voltarion?
I recommend adventurers who want to obtain Voltarion to stay active in PvP guilds and keep up the consistency throughout the grind for traces.
We should definitely listen to the words of the first adventurer to obtain Voltarion. 🙂 Is there any specific content you'd like to use Voltarion for? And can we say it's the mount you’re using regularly right now?
Right now, the mount I’m using regularly is Voltarion. The content I said I’d use it for, of course, ended up being PvP. Now, I head into wars with Voltarion.😅
At this stage, it’s definitely a huge pressure for rival guilds. 🤣 So, when you first got Voltarion, was there something specific you wanted to do with it? You can think of it like when we get Arduanatt and immediately want to try flying.

Of course, there was! 😃 I was really intrigued by how Voltarion drops instantly from a high place in its trailers. So, when I got my horse to level 30, the first thing I tried was exactly that. I even made a little YouTube video to show it off to the other adventurers.
Thanks to the video, we got to see that lightning speed! ⚡ So, for the last two questions: What’s your next goal? Or are you aiming for another Voltarion, but this time for the opposite gender? 🙂
I really want to get Voltarion to T10 level. So, getting a Voltarion of the opposite gender is definitely one of my current goals. I've already got 24 Trace of Thunderbolts! 😂
