MYSTIC
Mystic Succession allows the skills Prime: Roaring Tiger, Prime: Rage Hammer, and Prime: Sea Burial, which are enhanced by consuming 3 Martial Spirits, to be used in conjunction with Prime: Wave Orb. Prime: Wave Orb reduces cooldown time, while the other three skills increase damage, enabling the rest of the skills to be centered around them. Additionally, the Rabam skill, Raging Wolf, grants 3 Martial Spirits at once, allowing Succession: Crouching Wolf to start with 3 Martial Spirits from the beginning.

Mystic Awakening has strengthened its defensive aspects in PvP. It enhances the recover HP effects obtained through Sea Burial, Rising Dragon, and Wave Orb. While casting the complete defense skill, Infinite Fortitude, being hit by enemies allows for recovery of HP and endurance. Instead of focusing on high damage, the concept of Mystic Awakening is to chip away using various harmful effects and crowd control abilities. Dragon's Rip has been adjusted to be used more frequently, making it a more challenging skill for opponents.

Additionally, both Succession and Awakening have adjusted the duration of the Attack Speed Increase effect to reduce downtime when using Crouching Wolf during PvE, ensuring the Attack Speed Increase effect is refreshed.

SAGE
Sage Succession had lower skill damage amplification stats because its AP Increase and DP Decrease effects were stronger compared to other characters.
As a result, even if the displayed AP was higher than other characters, its impact felt relatively less significant.
To address this, adjustments were made to reduce DP Decrease effects while increasing skill damage amplification stats.

CONTENTS

Royal Workshop

The Royal Workshop in the Land of the Morning Light produces, processes, and delivers exclusive items, earning Silver while occasionally obtaining high-performance buff items during production. These buff items can be used directly or sold through the Central Market for additional income.
Additionally, rare materials obtained at a low probability during production can be used to craft rare processed goods for delivery.
Although the processed goods from the Royal Workshops are trade items, like Ancient Gold Coins, you don't have to lug them around on your back. Also, they are affected by distance bonuses and Trading level.
The approach is similar to sending workers to production nodes, making it an accessible additional income source for Adventurers.

Royal Workshops Open

  • To get started with the Royal Workshop, invest 5 Contribution Points in the UI that pops up when you press the Seoul icon on the World Map. You can also access it via Menu (ESC) -> Life -> Royal Workshops.

Production and Processing of Goods

  • The Royal Workshops are divided into two main nodes: Production and Processing.

  • Use the workers and storage from Yukjo Street to handle the production and processing of goods in the Royal Workshops.

Production Nodes

  • The Production Node is where you produce materials for processing.
    • Each node houses 5 workshops.
① Find the Royal Workshop Manager NPC to unlock more workshops in the node.
② Press the area to assign workers and set the number of production cycles.
③ Choose which workshop will handle the task.
- Each workshop offers various materials, and one material is produced based on chance.
- If you are not satisfied with the currently selected item, hit the refresh button to try for a different one. The currently selected item will not be selected again.
- You get one free refresh per day, and you can hold a maximum of one refresh attempt. Spend 10 Pearls for extra refresh if needed.
- All workshops refresh their selected items automatically at 12 AM daily.
- Within the production workshop, there are goods that include some very powerful and special buff items. These buff items have a low chance of being selected during the refresh of production goods. Once produced, these items can either be sold at the Central Market or used directly.
④ If you have changed the workshop in ③, you can confirm the changes through this button.
⑤ Use this button to give tasks to your chosen worker.
⑥ This button opens the Yukjo Street storage.

Processing Nodes

  • In the Processing Node, craft materials from the Production Node into finished goods.
  • Sell your finished goods in two different ways, depending on their type.
    • Goods processed here are specialties, not trade items, so no need to carry them around. (You can use the Magnus to travel to other cities.)
    • Tagged characters can't sell processed goods.

Last week, we shared news about various Life Skill-related content, such as Imperial Crafting Delivery, Fishing, Barter, and Treasure Training, which garnered significant interest from many adventurers.
In fact, following the update with this week's life events, not only has the number of people enjoying this kind of content increased significantly, but some have also been preparing ingredients in advance since the Global Lab update.

We thank you once again for your interest in Life Skill content, and this week, we bring you news related to Hunting and Farming.

In particular, regarding the stuffed furniture that adventurers have consistently utilized,
we have improved the material supply for crafting stuffed furniture to be used alongside [Guild] Furniture for Guild Manor,
which was updated on the official server this week, allowing you to enjoy your adventures even more.

Life Skill content serves as a supply source for numerous resources in Black Desert
and is important content that allows adventurers to enjoy some leisure during their long journey.

We will continue to examine the content carefully and make improvements as we go. Thank you.

Farming - Plant Breeding

Some adventurers integrate Farming with other Life Skills like Cooking, while others sell crops or seeds. There are also those who don't manage it intensively but enjoy the occasional harvest and upgrade for some light fun. To make Farming more enjoyable for everyone, we have some news.

Firstly, the Artisan restriction has been removed, allowing even beginner adventurers to acquire "Magical" seeds. Additionally, the chance to obtain higher-grade seeds through plant breeding has increased up to six times, easing the effort needed to raise Farming levels or acquire higher-grade varieties.

As your Farming level increases, the likelihood of encountering moles also rises. Previously, higher Farming levels offered no noticeable benefits, but now you can encounter moles up to twice as often, making events like the additional mole appearance more enjoyable.

Lastly, the frequency of obtaining 2-3 seeds through plant breeding has been increased.
This allows adventurers who enjoy Cooking to replenish their seeds more quickly, potentially increasing crop yields.

Please note that during the official server update, a mole appearance event will also be held to make today's Farming update more enjoyable.
  • Agris, the god of abundance, has blessed the lands of Black Desert, making all crops flourish like never before. With this blessing, you'll gather more seeds from your bountiful harvests, but watch out—those pesky moles are showing up more often in your garden!
    • Increased the chance to acquire seeds of the same level when breeding crops in the fence.
Plant Breeding Level
Probability of obtaining 2 seeds Probability of obtaining 3 seeds
Normal Increased by 1.07 times -
High-quality Increased by 1.03 times -
Special Increased by 1.25 times Increased by 3.84 times
Magical Increased by 1.25 times Increased by 3.84 times
※ Breeding normal and high-quality crops will yield up to 2 seeds of the same grade.

  • Increased the chance to acquire higher-level seeds when breeding crops in the fence.
Plant Breeding Level
Breeding Probability
Normal Seed → High-quality Seed Increased by 2.5 times
High-quality Seed → Special Seed Increased by 3 times

  • Removed the Farming level restriction for acquiring "Magical" seed when breeding special crops.

  • Added an increase in mole appearance probability based on the Farming level.

Hunting - Stuffed Furniture Items

The improvement direction for Hunting has been set to enhance the revenue of normal Hunting, which is relatively low compared to Sniper Hunting.
By increasing the drop rate of stuffed items obtainable through normal Hunting, we aim to ensure a steady supply of these items while simultaneously boosting revenue.
Similarly, we have adjusted the availability of items deemed insufficient in supply, such as Breath of Narcion and Breath of Omua, to make them more obtainable.
  • In the plains known as the Paradise of the Ancient Spirit Narc, "Narcion", Shadow Lions have expanded their territory. With their sharp claws and strong jaws, these lions have made the cautious Verdure Deer and Grass Rhinos hide away. The Shadow Wolves, once roaming in packs, have also retreated and some have vanished due to the arrival of O'dyllita's top predator.
    • Added Shadow Lion packs to Narcion.
    • Accordingly, the location of "Wild" Grass Rhinos, Shadow Wolves, and Verdure Deer herds has been partially changed or removed.
▲ In the darkened night of Narcion, even the moonlight dims. Watch out for the Shadow Lions on the prowl.

  • Increased the chance to obtain "Breath of Narcion" and stuffed items when hunting the following monsters.

NODE/CONQUEST WAR

Node War has long been valuable content for adventurers to build experience and teamwork.

Now, the occupying guild who wins the unlimited Conquest War can directly choose the method of conducting the Node War.

Depending on the choice, adventurers can fully utilize their long-standing strategies and expertise to engage in Construction mode Node War or enjoy the current Occupation mode Node War.

While only the method of progression can be set this time,
we are considering a function where the occupying guild can set not only the method of progression but also some rules,
including the number of participants, according to the flow of play.
We will continue to strive to make the node wars a more enjoyable experience.

※ If Conquest War ends and the occupying guild is confirmed before the Conquest War period ends, the next Node War mode can be selected until approximately 2 hours after the Conquest War period ends.

Node Area Change

With there being two Node War modes, the area of each node has been changed.
This is because the existing Node War area may be too small for Construction mode, so each node area had to be adjusted.

With the expansion of Node War areas, nodes per territory will change from 15 to 9.
Accordingly, tier 1 and 2 forts, which weren't being built in Occupation mode, have been removed and the location of neutral forts in each area has also been adjusted.
  • Expanded the node area displayed in the World Map (M) Node War filter to reflect the two Node War modes.
    • Changed the number of nodes in each region from 15 to 9.
