CLASS CHANGES

CLASS CHANGES
In the June update, we revamped the Accuracy/Evasion system. Now, when you successfully evade, you'll see a "Miss" and take less damage.
Today's global lab update fixed the issue where Special Damage and ""Miss"" weren't both displayed when they occurred simultaneously.
We apologize for not notifying adventurers about these changes in advance and for any confusion they may have caused.
  • Changed "Miss" to be displayed even when special attack damage and evasion occur simultaneously.  
    • When special attack damage is evaded, the evasion reduces the damage increased by the special attack, just as before.
 
  • Improved character movements to appear more natural when climbing down a ladder.

Skill Enhancement

  • Fixed the issue where "Combat Assistance" settings weren't being applied for the skill.
    • Recommended for new adventurers, "Combat Assistance" settings can be found via "ESC - Game Settings - Quality of Life."

Arena of Solare
Last week, the method of applying stats in the Arena of Solare was changed, allowing players to gain more stats through gear and skills. However, during matches, it was difficult to effectively counter opponents since exclusive gear couldn't be swapped mid-game.

Today's update addresses this by rebalancing exclusive gear to make it easier to defeat opponents. Additionally, some accessories used for stat specialization have been temporarily disabled. These accessories will eventually be integrated into new exclusive gear, offering diverse setup options. Further updates will be provided through the Black Desert Global Lab.

  • Decreased the AP of monsters summoned during combat with Karanda in the main questline "Jordine Saga" by approximately 10% - 15%.

  • Changed to display the attack area of the right-hand charging attack during the Muraka battle in the Calpheon Siege of the main questline "Jordine Saga".
    • Fixed the issue where some Muraka's attack area indicators appeared abnormal.
  • Fixed the issue in the Bloody Monastery of the main questline "Jordine Saga" where Muskan's clone appeared when using series of punch attacks.
  • Changed the Cultist Stone Statue in the Bloody Monastery of the main questline "Jordine Saga" to not attack adventurers above certain level.
    • Does not apply if already in combat.
  • Improved to show the attack area of Kzarka at the Kzarka Shrine during the "Jordine Saga" Main questline and decreased its HP by 50%.
 
  • The scattered monsters near the Bashim Base, Cadry Ruins, Roud Sulfur Mine, and Pila Ku Jail nodes joined into larger groups to prepare for adventurers' ambushes.
 
  • Improved and fixed the following in the Cadry Ruins [Dehkia's Lantern] monster zone.
    • Improved the Cadry Commander to appear more quickly after the Cadry Commander appearance message is displayed.
    • Fixed the issue where the attack range of a certain Cadry Cannon attack was inconsistent with the effect.

New tales are waiting for the traveler's help at Hwanghae Province.

Cannon Impact Point Display (Ping) Function

  • Added a function to show the impact point when firing a cannon.
    • The impact point display function applies to all types of cannons and can be checked from both the World Map (M) and the POV of the character who fired the cannon.
    • The impact point display holds for approximately 20 seconds after the cannonball lands and then disappears automatically.
      • You need a compass to have this function activated in the desert.

Landscape Changes
We've made some tweaks to the landscape to help adventurers enjoy smoother gameplay. This includes adjusting auto-navigate routes for horses, moving fences and altering the depth of water puddles in certain monster zones.
These changes were made based on feedback from our adventurers via the official website and Support. 
We plan to continue this effort, and we thank all adventurers who shared their thoughts with us.

  • Changed the order of some icons displayed on the left of the minimap. 
    • From left to right, the Season Pass, Manage Currency, and Progression Pass icons are displayed.

 

  • Fixed so that even if you press the Character Create button without clicking the Check button after entering a character name during Character Creation, a confirmation popup will verify if the name is a duplicate or not. 
    • If the entered Character Name is a duplicate, a message window will appear. 
    • If the entered Character Name is not a duplicate, a message indicating no duplication will appear along with a confirmation window asking if you want to create the character immediately.
    • You can also use the button to check for duplicate names as before.

 

  • Fixed the issue where the UI for entering Family name and the Apply Most Popular UI overlapped on the Character Creation screen depending on interface settings.

 

  • Added the Additional Enhancement Chance tutorial upon accepting the quest "[Calpheon] Relic on the Ridge".
    • Added Advice of Valks (+10) as a quest reward for completing the quest "[Calpheon] Reunion with Yaz" to allow smoother progress in the Additional Enhancement Chance tutorial.

 

  • Improved the UI functions in the dropdown list format, such as the Horse Market filter and Storage Transport function.
    • Improved the UI to display previously selected items and open at the last scroll position when reopening a collapsed UI with a scroll.
