Dark Knight - Controlling Infinite Power

The Dark Knight faction chose to stay away from the outside world.

So they wandered aimlessly until they reached a desolate plain after leaving Kamasylvia.

They reminded themselves that they’re the noble descendants of a goddess and the heroes that defended their homeland.

The descendants continued to train endlessly as they dreamt of the day they would return home and stand proud as the Defenders of Kamasylvia.

One fateful day, a young girl abruptly woke up from her sleep with sweat running down her face.

She was so terrified that she couldn’t even utter a sound.

She saw a giant tree swaying from side to side.

The tree appeared to be squirming and screaming as it was burning up in flames.

The flames spread at a frightening speed and burned all life on the ground.  

As the world burned, she felt someone looking down on her.

She tried to look up and at this moment her nightmare ended.

She went out after gaining consciousness and told her sisters about her vision.

Everyone listened intently as she told them.

They had to prepare for the oncoming disaster that was being foretold.

First, they dispatched a delegation to Kama-Grána.

They felt it was necessary to combine forces with their fellow sisters to devise a plan.

However, the Ganelle were cold towards the Dark Knight.

That’s because the Ganelle were in conflict with the Ahib until recently.

Kamasylvia was recovering as time passed,

but the tension between Ganelle and Vedir grew worse.

The girl insisted that something must be done to stop this disaster.

She knew better than anyone that she couldn’t use her powers outside of Kamasylve.

She needed the spirits of nature’s energy.

Recalling the horror she witness in her vision,

she had no choice but to obtain greater powers.

There were many that opposed her.

Some even accused her of gambling on the fate of their land.

The majority believed that they had to figure out a better way of increasing their strength while staying true to their old ways of using the spirits of nature’s energy.

Their opinions stayed divided even though they were faced with a grave danger that could strike at any moment.

It isn’t clear how they knew, but a few Vedir from the land of Thorn Tree came looking for her.

They were Ahib that had gained powers incomparable to what they had before.

The Ahib were completely transformed just like the rumors said.

It was to the point where it was hard to tell if they were related to the rest of the sisters.

They have accepted the power of the black spirits that once destroyed their homes.

The black spirits’ energy was described as an ‘ everlasting spring’.

Still, there was something strange about them.

They appeared to moved not of their own will but of something else’s volition.

The power that the black spirits possessed were much like the power of Dark Knight,

or more precisely - the power of Vedir.

The Ahib started to take energy from the black spirits,

then the black spirits would eat away and control their minds.

Some of them began to lost control.

They would thrash about in pain and become madmen or attack anything they saw.

The Ahib that came searching for her are the ones that survived this process.

Their eyes burned with bloodlust and greed.

Thankfully, there was some progress in their research.

The new equipment ‘Vediant’ allowed its holder to draw out the spirit’s energy and control it precisely.

Vediant was effective in helping the ones dominated by the black spirits’ powers as well.

During this time, the girl was struggling against a black spirit.

It felt like everything would be lost the moment she gives in to its power.

She had to be constantly on guard. The black spirit would whisper sweet temptations in her ear.

Then it would start eating into her ego the moment she lowers her guard.

There was no telling how much time had passed.

The world may already be in ashes.

She was able to penetrate deep into the black spirit, right to the core of its being.

There, she saw a black reflection of herself as if she was looking at a mirror.

The moment she reached out to towards it, it vanished like dust blown off by the wind.

She then felt something in her hand.

After that day, some claimed to have seen an explosion that looked like the sun had fallen on the other side of the wasteland.

When she woke up, she remembered nothing.

However, she was sure of one thing.

A great disaster will soon befall the world.

The moment she opened her eyes she whispered to herself:

"I must protect Kamasylvia at all cost."

 

Touch of Exploitation

Summons a Kriegsmesser and slashes the enemies with it.

Also uses magic attacks to steal HP from them.

Spirit Blaze

Summons a Kriegsmesser and attacks the enemies with it.

Then sprays vaporized spirit energy to launch enemies into the air.

Seed of Catastrophe

Causes a great explosion far away to deal damage in a wide area.

Shattering Darkness

Jumps back then rains down multiple Phantom Blades from above.

Spirit Legacy

Causes a large explosion. Enemies hit are stunned then slowed afterwards.

Overlord

Enables her to perform explosive attacks by unleashing the energy locked up inside.
