Error on not being able to use the reserved name after purchasing a package
Hello, adventurers.
This is The MMORPG, Black Desert.
There is an error where adventurers are unable to use the name they reserved after purchasing a package. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Please follow these steps to resolve this problem.
■ Error
- An error where the adventurer was not able to use the family/character name that he/she has reserved, and another adventurer was able to used it.
■ Recipients and Follow-up
1) An adventurer who purchased a package and actually ‘reserved’ a name
- The reservation right will be recovered with the next server maintenance (Planned for December 7) - The name change coupon will be provided through your in-game mail (B) with the next server maintenance (Planned for December 7) |
2) An adventurer who ‘created’ a name that another adventurer reserved
- Family/character name will be changed to a random name with the next server maintenance (Planned for December 7) (Example: Familyname_123) - The name change coupon will be provided through your in-game mail (B) on the next server maintenance (Planned for December 7) |
※ We will be notifying the recipients through their in-game mail if they have experienced the problems listed above.
※ Server maintenance is planned for December 7, and we will announce the details with a notice. Please note that the maintenance time is subject to change.
※ If you use a name change coupon, it will be applied during the next maintenance.
■ Compensations
We’re sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused, and we’ll be sending the adventurers the following compensation for their troubles.

※ If you weren’t able to reserve both the family/character name, we will be providing two of each item.
