You should get ready to go to Southwestern Calpheon once you get to level 47~48. It might be overwhelming for a beginner since the area is so big. But since each region of Southwestern Calpheon has distinct features and is full of new adventures, we recommend you take a look around.

You can look around the hunting grounds in whatever order you want. You will see your character growing visiting the places that suits your level. But we recommend you to visit [North Kaia Mountain] later since there are the monsters are gathered in groups and die quickly.

We’d also like to introduce [Serendia Shrine] and [Cron Castle] that you can visit during level 47~52. [Serendia Shrine] is located at the southern conrner of Serendia, and [Cron Castle] is located in Balenos, or to be accurate, on the east side of Velia.

 

 

Primal Giant Post

---

Giants live at the Southern Keplan Canyon. You can see their great body features as well as their barbaric and aggressive culture. They live here because they’re not that interested in territorial ambitions. The Giant Chief wants to continue on with the current life style, whereas Tantu wants change.

If you are Level 48~50, hunting is not that difficult. So don’t worry too much about the equipment.

Precautions

It is the easiest Hunting Ground out of all Southern Calpheon. The monsters located in the hunting grounds of Calpheon have the lowest level. So if your level reaches a certain point, you will gain less EXP.

The violent monsters that sometimes appear are tough and has high AP. But if they die, they will drop more than 6,000 coins. You might be lucky and get Black Stone or Ancient Relic Crystal Shard.

 

Key Locations and Hunting Route

You can hunt at the boarders of the post, but it’ll be better to hunt in the byways of the cliff where there are more monsters.   

 

 ▶  The entire area is pretty good for hunting, but it’s more efficient to hunt in the inner side (Southern part)

5. [Trend] User density  

You can carry out Black Spirit’s daily quests here. If you have a residence in Calpheon, you might find yourself doing a lot of daily quests there. It used to be crowded with many adventurers, but not so much these days. So you can have the place to yourself.

But since there are no unique drops, and the EXP efficiency is low, so you should level up from mid-40s to late 40s then leave the area.

 

 

Mansha Forest

It is the Forest of Mansha, a kind of goblin that lives in Calpheon. Mancha works hard to interact with humans, but not many goblins support him. Mansha Forest is considered a dangerous place because armed Mansha are everywhere and they loot the travelers passing by.

Precautions

Most monsters will attack from a distance but it’s not a big problem since they are gathered together. If your stats are at minimum range, it might be difficult to fight the Ogres. Their every attack is strong and they use skill debuff skills, so it would be difficult to fight them if you just reached Level 50. But if you succeed, you might get an Ogre’s Necklace by a low chance.

Mansha Goblins are widely spread, so finish on area first and then move to another.

The ‘Ogre Ring’ that the Ogres drop is a one of the best accessories, so even the adventurers with high level visit. There are enough number of Ogres so it doesn’t get too crowded, and they are not interested in Mansha Goblins so you can hunt them at ease. If you are a brave adventurer, you should challenge yourself and hunt down the Ogres sometime. Let’s look at DP related skills.

 

 

Lake Kaia (Catfishman Camp)

It’s a place where Catfishman live in water. Some people claim that they saw a gigantic monster, but it’s probably the Catfishman they saw.

It’s not that difficult if you reach the recommended stats, but you should still think about defense because monsters will corner you down.

Precautions

This area has normal difficulty and you can hunt endlessly since there are many monsters here. If you wish to reach late Level 40s to Level 50, this is the best place. But Violent(Star) Fat Catfishman that appears from time to time are tough and strong, so don’t get too comfortable.

There are a lot of monsters by the border of the lake, so these are the good hunting spots.

Rhutums, the green-skinned monsters live here. They know how to use human language, and they enjoy a life style similar to humans. They train troops and make the Catfishman to work for them.

The Rhutums Elite monsters are pretty tough. Rhutums Elite Archers are strong but they’re endurance is pretty low so hunt them down first in order to have an easy combat.

There are many monsters in both outside and inside of the wooden fence, so you could go either way. But inside the wooden fence is a bit better than the outside.

Treant Spirits have low AP but it heals other Treants around him, so take care of the Treant Spirits first. Old Tree Treant will summon Treant Spirit and Root Treant when its vitality drops. Most Treants are slow, so you should use Movement Speed Level Increase Buff (Food, Elixir).

Most parts of the forest are full of Treant, but the density is low. So hunt as you move around.

Precautions

Calpheon Shadow Knight and Sturdy Calpheon Shadow Knight are immune debuff skills as Knockdown, Stiff so you should be careful. Looting is very efficient either. But some high-level adventurers visit here because they might get ‘Mark of Shadow’, which is a quite expensive ring.

Hexe Santuary is where Hex Marie lives. There, you can find a creepy witch house, a soup made of unknown ingredients, animal bones, and a pot where smoke comes out. Hexe Marie was known as a witch, and she summoned dead people from the tomb and to protect her sanctuary.

3. Strategies

Precautions

Witch Tower is what summons the Skeletons and Skeleton Archers. If you want these monsters to find you, hit the Witch Tower one time and wait. But it’s better to go ahead and make attack them first and finish them. The Green Orc Skeleton drops the ‘Wich’s Earring’ most often, so a lot of people want to hunt it down. Be careful not to get involved in a fight with other adventurers. You might involve in a dispute.

If your level is in early 50s, you shouldn’t have much to worry about. But as mentioned earlier, the Witch Chapel’s node where the Green Org Skeleton appears is a popular place so it’s always crowded there.

It’s a popular hunting ground in Calpheon. You might even get the expensive earring, ‘Witch’s Earring’ here.

Not only that, you can get the EXP and the loots as well. But there’s a lot of competition so you should be careful. This might stress you out, so going to Calpheon Shrine or abandoned monastery to hunt and then going straight to Mediah would not be a bad idea.

 

                 

Cron Castle

The rebels expanded their power based on the Cron Castle. But now only the stragglers remain now. The Cron Castle holds many legends about the ancient gods and there are hidden secrets all over the castle. Crone Stone is one of them.

It is a balanced hunting ground packed with monsters that are not that easy nor tough, so you can’t hunt them down with minimum stats.

Precautions

There are two kinds of ranged monsters (Scout, Operation Chief) so it can be overwhelming. It’ll be better for you to eliminate the ones with lower XP. The hunting ground is pretty dense so you’ll have wiping them out at once.

The monsters are distributed evenly from the entrance to the top of the Cron Castle, so it has pretty good efficiency in most places. But on the other hand you could feel like there are not enough monsters since the castle is small.

This is where the followers of the Lord of Corruption make offerings to resurrect Kzarka. There’s been a rumor saying that the loud roar of Kzarka started from this Shrine and spread all over Srendia.

It’s the biggest shrine out of the 3 shrines. But it can be quite difficult if you just fulfill the minimum stats, so try to satisfy the recommended equipment.

Precautions

It’s difficult to gather them in one place due to their nature. You should corner the melee-type monsters first and then kill them at once with the ranged monsters. Also, the World Raid Boss, Kzarka, the Lord of Corruption appears at the deepest part of the shrine. So you avoid the time when boss appears if you don’t have the equipment ready.

It’s the top of Calpheon Mountain, and you can see the whole town at a glance. It is connected to the southwest mountain range of Calpheon, but no one comes here because of the rumor. It’s been said that a dragon appears here. Recently, mutant tree spirits that seem like a Trent are showing up, so it’s one of the most dangerous places.

If you are at the recommended stat and you have enough knowledge, you can hunt alone.

You can hunt down a strong monster by yourself, so some adventurers come here for fun.

If you get lucky, you can obtain one of the popular items 'Tree Spirit Belt'.

Since it is designed as a party-type monster, it would be more efficient to be at a certain level and have some necessary equipment. Remember that minimum stats might not be enough since they are strong and use a lot of debuff skills.

3. Strategies

Precautions

The Mutant Tree Spirit is capable of both Melee and Ranged skills. Pre-action for Melee attack takes some time so you might have time to dodge it. But you need to attack the monsters from behind since they bombard with continued attacks along with debuff skills. Even if you get them from behind, they make 360% attack decision effects, so you need to know how to avoid or defend yourself. Use food or elixir to along with high-level equipment in order to be more efficient, just like when you’re fighting against the Wilderness Golem in Mediah.

It’s not an easy monster to defeat, so skilled adventurers visit here. The EXP rarely goes up, but it’s quite popular since Black Stone and Tree Stone Belt gets dropped here often. Classes specialized in ranged attacks have better efficiency here, but melee-type can enjoy this area as well. If you want to enjoy something new such as the Golem of Mediah, we recommend you to visit here.

But it’s better to hunt alone here, so people don’t like to get disturbed here.
