We are providing this notice to inform you of the results of our investigation into transactions made through the Central Market between certain accounts, and the direction our measures will be against the wrongful abuse of the game system.

 

Black Desert’s economy is maintained and conducted through the Market.

Consequently, trade of all in-game items (excluding some consumables) and wealth  between individual accounts is strictly prohibited. The act of transferring wealth and items between accounts through abnormal methods, such as real money transactions, directly threatens the economy of Black Desert’s market.

After identifying the transferring of silver and the abuse of price differences on highly-enhanced items to trade between certain accounts, we launched a full investigation on March 12th.

Our investigation into the transactions and transfer of silver between specific accounts did not uncover evidence of market manipulations or real money transactions.

Nevertheless, we will continue to monitor and investigate these abusive behaviors.

Furthermore, we will be strengthening and revising the Operational Policy to eliminate acts that would adversely affect the game system, such as silver transfer and transactions between specific accounts.

■ Planned Revisions for the Operational Policy

- Additional restriction criteria for wrongful profits from exploiting the game system and/or the Market.

- Additional restriction criteria in cases of normal system usage identified as being done with the goal of exploitation.

- Revisions to the market price manipulation article to comply with the current Central Market system.

※ Warnings have been issued to members who violated the additional restriction criteria. Any further violations of the revised Operational Policy will be punished with game restrictions and silver penalty fines.

We will continue our close monitoring in order to cultivate the healthy game environment expected by our Adventurers.
