Hello Adventurers!
There is a phenomenon where some Adventurers using NVIDIA graphics card may experience a persistent screen flickering effect during gameplay.
We recommend that Adventurers experiencing this phenomenon change their graphics card driver settings by following the steps below.
Steps for Changing the NVIDIA Driver Settings
Open your NVIDIA Control Panel
Navigate to “3D Settings”
Select “Manage 3D Settings”
Navigate to “Program Settings”
Click “Add” and navigate to the Black Desert installation file (exe) to add it to the User Programs
Change the SLI rendering mode to “Force alternate frame rendering 2”
Select “Apply”
If you continue to experience this phenomenon after following the steps above, please contact Black Desert Customer Support and attach your Dump, Log, Dxdiag files to the ticket.
How to Find your Dump, Log, and Dxdiag Files
Dump File:
Navigate to the folder where you installed Black Desert.
Open the [Dump] folder
Attach the compressed Dump file that was created on the same day as the issue
Log File:
Navigate to the folder where you installed Black Desert.
Open the [Log] folder and attach the Log file that was created on the same day as the issue
Dxdiag File:
Press your [Windows Key] + [R] together on your keyboard to open the “Run” program.
Enter “dxdiag” into the input area and press [Enter].
Select “Save All Information” to create the dxdiag file.
