Starting from Jan 24, 2024 (Wed) after maintenance till Feb 7, 2024 (Wed) before maintenance,  open the quests menu ( O ) >New > [Event] Joys of Ice Fighing > Navigate ( that will lead you to Abelin in Velia ), by doing the Event quest, you will get [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rods x30,  right click on it to know the marked location to use it

- At the Serene Spring, right click on the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod from your Inventory to start ice fishing.

- Pay attention to the direction of the arrow and rotate your mouse.

You will end up with two kind of fish 

You can always buy more [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod  from Abelin so make sure to get all the rewards on the items description.

By handing over a [Event] Icy Smelt to Abelin, you can choose whichever buff you want + 100 Contribution Points
